Universal Tribe Records is proud to present the first glimpse into our long-anticipated Australiens Remix project, and it begins with none other than Scionaugh.

Premiering now via Iboga Records’ SoundCloud, Scionaugh’s rework is a masterclass in deep, driving psychedelia, a remix that honours the original’s cinematic depth while guiding it into shadowy, playful, and hypnotic new territory.

A longstanding contributor to the Universal Tribe journey and the mind behind our Subspecies compilation series, Scionaugh brings his signature sound to this special release with surgical precision and soul.

Originally released in 2016 by Freedom Fighters & MVMB as part of MVMB’s debut album on Iboga Records, Australiens quickly became a progressive anthem. Now, nearly a decade later, we’re proud to reimagine it with a uniquely Australian voice, and Scionaugh’s remix sets the tone for what’s to come.

This is just the beginning, we just go on, and on, and on…

Formed two years ago by the talented producers Max Flávio and Rodrigo Oliveira, the Different project has been gaining prominence in the electronic music scene with its unique and captivating sound. With a thick, groovy Brazilian bassline — a signature element of their identity — Different quickly earned recognition on the global stage, releasing music on some of the most prestigious labels in the genre. Recently, the project solidified its name on Zenon Records, the most renowned label in the style, and also joined Another Psyde Rec, another influential Australian imprint at the forefront of psychedelic music, establishing themselves as one of the most promising acts in the underground electronic music scene.
