Spanning across all fields of DJing, producing, and curating with his own label Night Service, he showcases a visionary approach that seamlessly blends elements of techno, breaks, and rave music.

Having dedicated years to exploring and experimenting with sound, Ibbs made his entrance into the Techno scene in 2022 with the release of his 'Volta EP', which garnered the attention of heavyweights such as DVS1, Ben Klock & Marron.

In 2024, Bailey has been unveiled as a resident at the iconic Tresor, poised to continue evolving and refining his distinctive sound. As a passionate follower of the music's history, Ibbs harbors no inclination for nostalgia. Instead, he has immersed himself in the legacy of techno, fully committed to propelling it into new and innovative territories.

Her free spirited and high energy sound mixes all different genres from 00s tribal and hardgroove techno, ghetto & hard house, 90s trance, UK garage and more. She's very versatile with infectious energy that continues to grow into other genres, mediums and more. By recently joining Berlin based collective @tymeberlin, ALIS. is helping in organization of non-profit event series, which include music performances, talks and workshops to encourage cross-cultural exchange and to rebuild new networks among DJs, musicians, contemporary artists and cultural activists in Berlin with a common goal of supporting her native country Ukraine. Through his typical funky, fast, and introspective sound, Nicolas started releasing his tracks through his own personal label NCLS which quickly gained notoriety and attracted support from renowned DJs worldwide. This next one’s a very special B2B set from two of techno’s freshest talents. German/Dutch pairing Phil Berg and Lobster have emerged from their respective habitats masters of their art. From raves in both their homelands to releases on SK-eleven, HAYES, Room Trax and positivesource, as well as a shared residency for Vault Sessions that’s brought them here for Bassiani Podcast 210, the duo posit a deep and driving compound of high-voltage rhythms in their day-to-day praxis. Slamming techno that has claimed a rightful space among the greatest names of their generation. Layer by layer, an instinctive formulation of heaving basslines and delicate hi-hats balanced with utmost precision. It’s a seamless communion of complementary worldviews in respect to sound, a rich tapestry of ever morphing loops. It’s focus on gradual build, a slowly evolving chimera in lieu of schmaltzy instant gratification. This latest edition clocks in at three hours, a redacted version of their 12 hour set for the Vault Sessions night at Bassiani back in early February. Immersive and rolling, monolith techno that’s sure to set a higher bar for those who follow.

All the support from the most respected DJs on the world scene (Ben Klock, Rødhåd, Slam, Chris Liebing...) only confirms that the music produced by the Frenchman does not leave one indifferent and that great things are to come.

DifferentSound invites Uun (Detroit)

The DifferentSound Podcast #295 welcomes Uun! 
Having been producing and performing since 2010, Uun has been a staple of the techno scene for many years. His mind melting live performance have been featured at many institutions, including Movement Festival in Detroit, Tresor in Berlin, Khidi in Tbilisi, and Basement in NYC. Resident Advisor referred to this ability to work within many different imprints and styles as “quietly infiltrating techno”, and compared his music to the latter days of the Sandwell District. He is perhaps best known as a producer, having released substantial work on some of the most respected underground techno labels, including Mord, Semantica, and Soma. The genre defining record store Hard Wax described Uun's sound as a "straight ahead techno juggernaut." He also has his own label titled Ego Death, where he releases his most genre defying material.
