For our first installment, we bring you DJ HI-C’s incredible closing set from this year’s festival. A resident member of Moment, DJ HI-C combines hypnotic techno rhythms and turntablist techniques to create a totally unique and otherworldly groove. It marked the perfect end to this year’s festival and we’re delighted to be able to present it here for the first episode of Moment Archives.

This week we are proud to present you seriously good mix from fast rising star Pulso, who proves us his skills to be top tier quality both as a dj and a producer. Enjoy the trip and look out for Pulso: he's coming on strong.

Bio:
Founding member of the SRIE Records label where he contributes his musical pieces and mastering knowledge since 2013 in Buenos Aires, Joel Pulso challenges the stablished structures in the musical framework since his style became more definitive, experimental, analogous and hypnotic, developing a unique imprint, based on minimalism and the collage method through home-made recordings.

His project and musical focus exposes the objective of immersing the listener on his semantic field, going from psychical and cerebral music, to the most sci-fi & loopy danceable style through his productions and sessions.

Pulso is part of the great Argentine scene providing musical legacies in renowned labels such as Subsist, Semantica, Float, Antiterra, Mindtrip, KEY Vinyl and in its own signature SRIE, where in each release along with Translate, deliver quality music and concept, giving rise to the best artists oscillating within their sound´s framework.

Since the end of 2022 a new label was born which is dedicated to the manufacture of cassettes and CDs called "Histéresis" where, together with his partner Uma Soundsystem, Pulso performs the position of mastering (Digital and Cassette) and graphic material for each edition, which are produced at home and manually and delivered to the globe; these editions can be found in his official bandcamp (/Pulsojoel) and in the official Histéresis account too.

In parallel to his music and minimalist style of work, Joel Pulso develops cover arts under the name of Fractales DIY, formerly publisher of fanzines and handmade books, currently factory that spits out the crudest and surreal analog collages which are part of the catalog that defines his vision as an artist.

When it comes to his presentations, he seeks freedom in music, demonstrating a solid sound, creating hypnotic environments and providing the versatility and insight that characterizes Luca in his DJ Sets. 

Under the alias "Luca Notdead", his focus is to experience a more rave sound, using fast bpm and impactful melodies, obtaining a different facet within the techno style.

Luca has productions on labels such as Survival Alliance, Apical Records, Binaural Records (Colombia), and Research From Space (Italy). Currently he continues working on improving his productions and experimenting with the live act process.

Simone has made this podcast for us trying to travel, towards his musical selection, through all the different facets of his new CONCEPTUAL project. He defines it as Tribal, hypnotic, groovy and experimental in a techno key, includes tracks from Shifted, Abdulla Rashim, Svreca, Lucy, Reeko, Mike Parker, Donato Dozzy, Nørbak & himself between many others.
