Over the past years Insolate has proven that she is one of the most interesting artists our scene has to keep an eye on. Many strong releases, such as her ‘Sins EP’ on Ben Sims’ label Symbolism and ‘Cern Research Center 35’ on Developer’s Modularz, have already had a great impact on the dancefloor. 

Besides building her way on a musical level, Insolate is a great contributor to the Croation music scene as well. As a co-host of TRAUM (together with Volster, who provided FrenzyPodcast #096), she makes sure a great selection of quality techno comes to her country.

Scanning out the deeper layers of the four-four spectrum, the spaniard’s RYC offering takes us for a pulsating ride across heavily delayed dub atmospheres and steely industrial scapes, via off-kilter corridors of sound. guese Cisco discovered Acid House in the London clubs he frequented, his journey has been about making his mark on the electronic music scene. Or, as he recently put it himself: “I’ve been doing this for quite a few years and I’m not going anywhere.” This sums it up pretty well; you won’t see Ferreira naked, shooting promo videos carrying a dog, or hear him publically worrying about the sincerity of the average EDM jockey. He’s everything about techno you’ve learned to love, without the circus you’ve learned to accept. Fresh out of college, Cisco’s hunger for sound landed him a job as assistant sound-engineer in several recording studios. There he learned about the art of translating feelings to frequencies, while at the same time recording various high prole artists from the world of Rock, Pop, Dance, and Reggae. When acid label ‘Jack Trax’ moved in next-door, Cisco started recording for the likes of Adonis, Fingers Inc, Marshall Jeerson, and Derrick May. These rendezvous sparked the inspiration for his rst EPs on R&S and Fragile. In 1994 Ferreira signed a record deal for 12 EPs and 3 albums together with Colin McBean. This was the beginning of an era during which the duo set a worldwide standard for high quality underground Electro and Techno. They hit the world with a refreshing sound, both as The Advent, and ‘G Flame (Cisco) and Mr G’, the alias Colin is still using. Nowadays The Advent is a solo project, bombarding crowds around the world with its trademark raw, energetic sound.

Adriana Lopez has established herself as one of the most influential techno artists of all time, making her a clear pioneer and key player in the Colombian techno scene.
Starting out in Bogota, where she cut her teeth holding down residencies at Club BarC, Cinema and La Sala whilst performing across her native country’s different cities, Adriana Lopez moved to Spain in 2003 where she quickly made a name for herself throughout Europe and beyond.
With years of experience behind her, Lopez’s deep understanding of techno is evident in her high quality and tasteful selections: mixing records with a technical finesse that has led to appearances at the likes of DGTL Festival (Barcelona, Madrid), Rainbow Serpent Festival (Australia), Fabric (London), Berghain and Tresor (Berlin), Lux Fragil (Lisbon), Concrete (Paris), Radion (Amsterdam), Faust and Vurt (Seoul), Vent (Tokyo) and many more.
Meanwhile, as a producer Lopez has released several EPs, singles, and remixes on her own Grey Report as well as other labels such as Stroboscopic Artefacts, Modularz, Semantica, PoleGroup, BPitch and Mistress Recordings, among others.
