He was born and raised in Georgia, Batumi, lived and studied in Ukraine for a short, to return and gain respect in Georgia's capital Tbilisi,for time being regarded as Techno's hottest spot. He’s naturally modest, not very effusive, and quite thrifty in his statements. The young artist is a Russian-born and Frankfurt based DJ. She has been part of the label @studioennea since the early beginnings and founded the feminist art collective junakarat. In the scene ÜBERKIKZ publicly positions herself against sexism, discrimination and racism. She actively supports FLINTA artists in the techno scene and works closely with @houseofflinta.
It's impossible not to dance when ÜBERKIKZ is on the decks. Her style is inspired by the early 2000s. Although her sets are infused with unstoppable groove from start to finish, they are not lacking in edginess. The kicks are hard and driving. Trancy melodies are uniquely combined with folk and tribal elements. Each of her sets is an emotional story that everyone can understand if they let themselves drift.

ÜBERKIKZ joins for DifferentSound Podcast #220.

ÜBERKIKZ is a Russian-born artist living in Wiesbaden, Germany. Her style is inspired by the techno of early 2000s. Old treasures from the golden age of hard groove are combined with current releases. In this way, the 26-year-old artist creates an unique fusion of old and new. Although her sets are infused with unstoppable groove from start to finish, they don't lack sharpness. The kicks bounce and are at the same time hard and driving. Folk and tribal elements are combined with tooly mental groove. A small pinch of spacy elements creates an unique blend of past and future. ÜBERKIKZ aims with her music to let the listeners explore the depths of their emotions and origins. Detached from thoughts and almost controlled by inner drives according to the motto "think less, live more" she invites all listeners on this unforgettable journey. Each of her sets is a very emotional story, arising from the deepest depths of herself and that everyone can understand if they let themselves drift.

Grace Dahl at Intercell Indoor 2024

Nuke is a central figure in Spain's techno history and the creative force behind the legendary CODE events held at Madrid's mega-venue Fabrik. His tracks have featured on prominent labels such as Hardgroove, Tronic, Harthouse, Kombination Research, MB Elektronics, Jam, and Odd Recordings.

This set was recorded live at Fabrik during the CODE event on January 18th. Nuke retained the full two-hour recording to showcase the musical progression of his opening set on a special night headlined by Fatima Hajji’s seven-hour performance. While regularly performing at clubs and festivals globally, he particularly enjoys his residency at Fabrik, carefully crafting warm-up sets for guest artists.

His style combines raw techno and hardgroove, enhanced with classics, vocals, and melodies to keep the audience engaged. Nuke hopes the BCCO listeners enjoy this energetic mix of styles.
