The London-based duo of Kas & Josh, better known as Late Replies, has been skyrocketing into the current tech house and minimal scene over the last couple of years thanks to their infectious groove-laden productions. After joining forces back in 2016, the pair has been making beats nonstop, most of which have seen the light on prestigious labels like Sola, Deeperfect, Kaluki, and more recently Whippin, WYLD, and Knee Deep In Sound. Their sound, which is also followed up on their own imprint Black Label Recs, carefully blends together subtle vocals, catchy rhythms and pulsating basslines, for a unique and compelling dancefloor experience. They might be late... but wgaf? :)

The recording from my set on the main stage, day 3 at Return to Rio 2023. 
Opening a day full of incredible music on the stage from Nick Warren, Amonita, Paris and some of Sydney's best artists from Frida, Samantha Loveridge, Andy Ef, Zankee Gulati and many more; and the first set the morning after a blistering 5 hour masterclass from Patrice Baumel. 

I took the opportunity to make the most of the 11am slot time and play some really beautiful up-beat melodic house, groovy deep house and all-around happy music for the opening slot of the day. 

Definitely the most fun I've had playing behind the decks in a long time!

In honor of releasing our 40th live mix from our Desert Hearts Festival, we couldn't be happier to share with you the most talked about set in the history of DH. Everything we knew about live House & Techno was completely blown away during this set as Rodriguez Jr. gave us the performance of a life time. Described by him as "One of the best parties he's ever played", the vibe was on another level, the music was through the roof, and his performance had everyone in a musical frenzy. We all had a feeling that Rodriguez Jr. was going to be the highlight of our Desert Hearts Spring Festival, but we had no idea that he was about to set the bar for every DJ & Performer at our festival moving forward. Notable releases include Mood (KMS Records, 1989) and the Mushroom Jazz series (Om Records, 1996–2011), and recently known also from house compilations El Divinio. He is primarily identified with the house music scene in San Francisco, California. Farina resides in Dallas, Texas, but DJs widely around the world.
