A 1963 performance of a "composition" by experimental minimalist composer LaMonte Young. In this performance, the Theatre of Eternal Music included LaMonte Young, John Cale, Angus MacLise, Tony Conrad, Marian Zazeela, and perhaps a few others. LaMonte Youngs compositions consisted of "laws" laid out by La Monte Young regarding "allowable" sequences and simultaneities. This recording shows where this method led musically.
