To lead myself and carry on (On an aimless journey)
To take the scissors, squeeze them softly
Cut the umbilical divide

This black depression, it reigns
Pocked with holes of optimism
Yet satisfied all the same

admit that I was often wrong
So odd to overstep my bounds now
To let the awkward feelings go

That once I was too blind to feel (As it nailed me up there)
The empathy is not a weakness
It is a strength, something to fear!
