And here is the third and final (for now) volume of Beat Diaries (and also my favorite), the series of beat tapes that I was working since December . It was an incredible experience to produce /work in average one beat per day and releasing it straight away. Boydex & JnrBoom step on the groove from the start with this remix of Fun Guy and keep it up and at ‘em with some staunch beats that don’t slack off until they decide to give you a soft wobble on the breakdown.

It slides around and gives nods to their roots and spits you out the other side. Tough and full of swagger, but still mushy and warm, this duo brings a big break feel to the track.

Sonically separating some slinky sections and slicing them in front and centre gives props to the original recording whilst also giving a solid indication of where B4RKLY likes the vibes to sit.

Armit (IN) brings his love of techno to this punchy remix, upping the tempo a little and coming through with some nice psychedelic sweeps and tweaks, giving FUN GUY a new lease of life.

Falköne drops deep into the mix with this punchy half-time jam. Bringing elements of dub and a big hip-hop energy, with the vocals pushed to the front. 

The drums rattle and crunch down low and rip crisp up top, whilst also allowing heaps of room for some tasty, washy reverb sweeps to cut across the top of this pulsing strut of a mix, with just enough to keep it nice and psychedelic.

Dystracted - Fun Guy (Falköne Remix)

This collaborative remix is a refreshing sonic adventure that highlights the skill and flair of both contributors. 

Seamlessly shifting through changes of feels and grooves while exploring the full frequency range, there is plenty in this track fascinate and excite the ear drums as well as get you shaking on the floor. 

Crisp and tight, but with plenty of woozy wobble as well as astute and well worked use of the original stems, this remix of Fun Guy is a delightful addition to the collection from a couple of unique voices in the bass music scene.

This remix is thick and lush, loaded with hooks and sonic wizardry. 

A short and sharp blast that moves along at a nice clip, Dystracted round out this remix compilation of Fun Guy with their own take that again shows the growth and expansion of their sound.
