Diffraction Collective is proud to present the latest drop from the dark overlord of techno, Gamut. 

‘Superimposed’ is like a soundtrack to a gothic fever-dream, scratching and clawing at your soul, wailing and moaning in your ears. 

Crisp, solid, phat and trippy, this tight production absolutely sizzles. 

Fresh from a recent performance at Mushroom Valley, where he blew minds with his unsettling appearance, sick selections and masterful mixing, this track is sure to satiate Gamut’s legions of devotees until he next rises from his crypt. 

Citing the Berlin underground techno scene as a major influence, Gamut creates exquisite sonic-scapes that incorporate a swag of sounds and techniques he has gathered on his ancient journey.

A refreshing burst of bass for summer, bringing a punchy groove infused with uplifting melodies, drawing sounds from Asia, the Indian Subcontinent and beyond, to get the barometric pressure rising.

Transmuting dark sound into dancefloor hypnotherapy Arna creates deep harmonic soundscapes with intention of seeing as clearly in the black as in the bright. With a pulse based at 140, he conveys modern dubstep and bass music contrasting beautiful and vile vibrations. 

Stalking the ears of the Adelaide bass scene for the past 2 years Arna has left clubs and festivals ringing with haunted emotions. Utilising dancefloors as a medium for integrating the shadow aspects of the soul. This blackened sound sooths and calms, although at times is chaotic, embracing the contrast of life.

We back and bringing’ the next instalment in our Diffraction Mix Series from local bass devotee, Jack Bussit!?!

Jack Bussit originates from the West Midlands of the United Kingdom but has called North Queensland home for the last ten years. 

Jack creates his informed and unique blend of upfront Jungle and Drum and Bass sets from his time in the UK participating in rave culture and falling in love with the movement. Jack immersed himself in the scene throughout the late 90’s early 2000’s, his passion and dedication to the Junglist and Drum and Bass movement hasn’t faltered since. 

Jack is the founder of TSV DNB and continues his bass driven journey, selecting tunes around Northern Queensland. As a host of bass inspired events, Jack works to support and nurture the Townsville and NQ bass community, working with other local DJ’s, producers, and MCs to build and strengthen the future of bass culture.
