Korpex caught our attention after the release of his closing set for Monument at their festival in 2021. After further research, we found out that sound-wise he doesn’t only seamlessly fit with Embodiment, but is also a true artist with strong standards and values.

During the techno revolt in the nineties, he became fascinated by the craft of DJing and in 1999 he decided to learn the trade and make it his own. With the support of his friend Rødhåd, he developed his passion for clubbing and electronic music into his own sound. With this sound, he creates experiences for the people on the dance floor as he has experienced them himself.

Korpex sees his recordings and podcasts as a medium to give people the opportunity to escape reality, especially for those who cannot do that in a club. His contribution to SALON, therefore, reflects the energy he felt during his recent moments on the dance floor.

‘’The reason why I chose to release for Embodiment is that we share a similar vision. The vision dedicated to the dance floor. You need the dancefloor to fully experience the power of techno and to be able to feel the music with your whole body.’’

Born in Sardinia, Berlin-based DJ and producer.
Luca's sound is a hypnotic deep techno wave, that has been embraced by the best underground clubs in Rome for the last 10 years. Starting with Goa (where he was resident for 7 years) and then Rashomon, Vicious and other underground parties (the most recent being RARE:). He went on to play in other international clubs, as the legendary Tresor in Berlin. He has always rigorously played vinyl.
Over the years he has also approached production: in 2005 he successfully completed a diploma at Digital Audio Technologies (DAT) in Rome.
His sound is delicate, abstract, soft, pure and profound.
