Hailing from the Coastal Region of North Carolina, DJ Grendel is a staple in the NC Drum n Bass scene. With a reputation for electrifying sets that weave together pulsating basslines, infectious breakbeats, and high-octane energy, Grendel is guaranteed to get your heart racing and feet moving.
Grendel's passion for drum and bass goes deep, fueled by a love for the genre's raw power and rhythmic complexity. With a background as a classically trained musician his sets are meticulously crafted journeys, taking listeners on a rollercoaster ride through the spectrum of drum and bass, from deep, atmospheric soundscapes to frenetic, high-energy anthems.
As the founder of BACK2WAX he is more than just a DJ. Grendel is a dedicated advocate for the drum and bass community in North Carolina, hosting multiple one-off events, monthly events, and annual events. With the series of events that has become known as For The Love Of Drum & Bass, Grendel has been pushing the boundaries of the genre and bringing together bass enthusiasts from all corners of the state.
