”As so many great schemes do, it started with a conversation in a pub. After several sporadic releases on Diffrent Music, including his renowned 2013 debut ‘Tongues’, label boss Dexta wanted more music from Fearful. One thing led to another, and suddenly an album was in the works.

The result is ‘Interference’; a body of work that is reflective not only of the personal idiosyncrasies and aspirations of its London-based producer, but of an artist who has truly been set free of expectations.

Harnessing his own inbuilt need to defy convention, and looking to influences such as classical game soundtracks, experimental mastermind Amon Tobin, and the brooding tones of Akkord and Lorn, Fearful has crafted an album that’s unpredictable yet cohesive, and definitive of his aim as an artist.

From the menacing ambient opener ‘Rocinante’, through the glitchy techno of ‘The Traveler’, skewed drum & bass of ‘Pulse 0’ and ‘Through The Mist’, to the roaring drone and pounding metal-inspired drumwork of closer ‘Gold To Dust’, it’s an album that demands full attention and repeat listening.

Nowhere is this free-roaming but pull-no-punches attitude summed up better than the title track. Building through eerie, twisted atmospherics — samples of electromagnetic interference, which can be found throughout the album — it clatters into a domineering breakbeat, before collapsing into a guttural, tribalist techno roller.

Where much of dance music draws on repetition, the concept of ‘Interference’ is simple: progression. Whether that be changing motifs within tracks, switching genres within the album, or developing upon Fearful’s own artistic strengths, it’s an idea never more at home than on Diffrent Music, and we are very proud to present it.”

The mighty Neve, the label manager of The Dreamers recordings is back with a banging 7 track EP, that he describes in his own words:
“The name of the Nobody EP comes from my sound research, sometimes I find myself doing the oddest things for creating sounds. As a label manager I always advice other artists to work on a sound that makes them unique. In the last months I’ve released some dark rollers tracks on labels as Guidance and Lifestyle Music, but at the same time I kept working on more experimental areas (The Dreamers Rem Phese and a release with Calculon on non60). While the general drum and bass sound is clearly going in a defined direction, I chose to release an EP with a broader music spectrum, including two 100bpm tracks. With this work I want to expand the boundaries of my productions, maintaining the signature sound that I’ve created  using my trusty hardware gear. It is a collection of the best dancefloor tested tracks, produced and refined in the last two years, and remark the unidefined but defined sound of 'The Dreamers Recordings' : a good place for good music.

“Nobody” is a clear tribute to The Prodigy sampling skills, but has a trap attitude and a raw distortion, “Keep it up” with Was A Be is a 90's sounding 4x4 track that starts at 170 bpm and drops down at 140 in the middle. A perfect dj tool to explore different shades of bass music. “Skirts” has a bouncy bassline to shake the dancefloor, “New energy” is pure halfstep business with gritty synths, “Midi gal” feat Neekoshy is another halfstep tune made with the Turin based Mc Neekoshy and with sampled birds: dedicated to all the dnb ladies, “Belly dance” (with Frame) is one of the most played in Neve’s sets of the last two yers, this what happen when halftime meets the dub, “Sandonarcos” has been created on the southern Italian beaches with local samples and closes the EP with a 100bpm tempo.

NEVE BIO:
In 2016, he created ‘The Dreamers Recordings’, where he work as a manager , a+r and mastering. Providing high quality ground breaking music and supporting Italian newcomer producers was -and still is- the goal of the label, which immediately received the appreciation of international top djs.
In 2017 Neve won the Redbull Culture Clash of Milan, with the ‘Hellmuzik’ team, playing jungle music in the first round. Currently, his releases appears on labels such as  Med school, Shogun audio, Guidance, Flexout, The Dreamers, Rua Sound, Delta 9 , Dutty Audio (and many more..) and have been played on DNBARENA, UKF, KMAG , BBC Radio 1, receiving support from many top dj’s. 
Years of experience as a dj made Neve’s sound a patchwork of styles and genres. Old school and new school blend in, while rolling, footwork, jungle, hip-hop, house , uk garage and neurofunk mix mercilessly. And this variety of sound is reflected in his production: make only one type of drum and bass is  a musical limit for his open mind. At the moment he is working on releases for, Hospital, Dread rec, Guidance, Unchained, Overwiev and the Dreamers, while building his side live project with hardware synths and drum machine, going from house to hip hop.

Dusty Ohms & RaptorHandz - Combustion

After remaining close friends and regular creative partners for the past 6 years, London-based producer Drumterror and rapper Photes are finally dropping their first collaborative body of work - ‘6 Years, 14 Minutes’. Having cut their teeth in the North of England, before honing their craft in amongst London’s soundsystem and club community, ‘6 Years, 14 Minutes’ comprises four original tracks from the duo, showcasing a ruthless blend of grime, dubstep and hip-hop, in a style that is unequivocally their own.

The duo kick proceedings off with an aggressive entrance in the form of ‘Leave’, a grime-influenced track demonstrating the super-sharp production style that Drumterror has become renowned for, paired with an unstoppable flow from Photes that melts into an introspective hook. The track is laced with saturated orchestral sounds throughout, climaxing with a string-filled crescendo in the final sequence. This is followed by ‘Merchants’, the lead single from the EP, which effortlessly demonstrates the sound that the duo have become known for, flipping an 808-covered verse section into a distorted onslaught at 140 beats-per-minute. The third offering from the EP, ‘Middle Man’ features a verse from up-and-coming London rapper Sleepy, who’s become known in the social media sphere for his untouchable freestyling techniques. A lower and slower offering than the other tracks, ‘Middle Man’ exhibits an ice-cold ambience, with soft pianos, angelic choirs and heavily-reverbed pads featuring throughout. Bonus track ‘Offside’ brings a more dubwise-influenced sound to the table, touching on the roots of the sound that Drumterror and Photes have become known for, with guitar and bass melodies colliding throughout in a relatively upbeat closing track for the EP.
