Rem Phase Vol.1 is the first release of a new compilation series from The Dreamers Recordings, it features 13 tracks from various artists, including Neve, Corrupted, Samurai Breaks and Jazzatron alongside some new and upcoming artists. This new series is dedicated to the half tempo dark vibes and collects the artists’ interpretations of this mood. It features heavy beats, deep basses, enormous stabs and dirty synths. All the involved artists already proved to be some of the most interesting talents of contemporary drum & bass and most of them have been featured in the Dreamers releases. This time they have been invited to contribute to this special project and brought in their musical influences: from hip hop, to ambient, to juke, footwork and jungle, all reinterpreted to meet the 160-170bpm range.

Never a label to be pigeonholed, Diffrent Music returns with its first full downtempo release courtesy of label stalwarts Fearful and Mtwn.

Having touched on UK techno, garage and ambient with his expansive 2017 album 'Interference', London producer Fearful joins forces with the Belgian duo for four tracks further exploring these concepts.

From the deconstructed rave of opener 'Part 2', through sultry midnight viber 'Unknown', the sub-aquatic soundscape of 'Depths', right through to the eerie, jittering last track 'Verbunden', it's an EP that dives headfirst into that grey area of nostalgia-flecked progression once dubbed the hardcore continuum — and then pushes far beyond.

A milestone release coming in Diffrent's celebratory 10th year, 'Collisions' not only continues the ongoing stories of Fearful and Mtwn, but opens a new chapter in the chronicles of the South London imprint.

Deviant Audio welcomes the return of Johney for a sub-heavy 4-track EP featuring half-time 170 BPM numbers, dubstep as well as an amen tear out jungle track.

For those new to the name, Johney hails from Slovakia and currently resides in Brno, Czech Republic.

He began his production journey shortly after falling for the sub-heavy sounds of dubstep in 2009. His sound is a blend of his many influences from drum & bass, juke and dubstep.

Past releases on Ground Mass, Samsara Beats and Sub Garden. He’s an active member of the Soul Ex Machina collective from Brno, pushing the deeper side of drum and bass and dubstep through their events and label.
