Three years since his last solo release on Diffrent, the label boss returns with a spicy serving to match the summer heat!

‘Fajita’ starts off sparse on the drumwork, letting the wiggling, warping bassline flip the dancefloor on its head. That is until Dexta turns up the gas in the second half, dropping in a thumping four-to-the-floor kick and subtle break to see out proceedings with a sizzling energy.

‘Amethyst’ is collaboration based on an original track by Lucent, and finds Dexta at his most Diffrent. Like the soundtrack to a bout of deep-space madness, an off-kilter beat pattern (watch out for this one DJs!) meets sharply oscillating low-end, robotic growls and an eerie, half-heard vocal.

To close out a wicked 2019 for In:flux Audio, we've decided to pull together 10 tracks from artists both old and new to the roster to bring you 'Free Dubstep Volume 3' just in time for that much needed Christmas stocking filler.

Ali McK & IYZ return for their third outing on the series, as does Hamdi and label founders Tik&Borrow. Dystinkt also makes a welcome return to the series in preparation for his debut EP on the label in early 2020, whilst In:flux regular breaks his Dubstep cherry here with an absolute blinder entitled 'Drips and Drums'.

This time around we have plenty of newcomers to series, with debut tracks from Mungk, Panix, SHVA, Thompson and last but not least Emti, who will be making is debut EP bow on the label in 2020.

Hailing from Perth, Australia, new recruit Luke Sentric joins the SweetBox roster with a jaw-breaking debut effort.

Lead track ‘Gobstopper’ uses minimal elements to maximum effect: ultra-stripped, halftime percussion, a sneering, pitched-up ragga vocal, and cataclysmic globules of low-end. No handshake. No how d’you do? Just a knockout blow from the bass bins.

B-side ‘Laws’ continues the halftime theme, but this time pairs a smoky dub vibe with a funky pattern of grizzled synth stabs. More laidback than the A but still built to impress on the dancefloor, ‘Laws’ completes a perfect package of dynamic club material.
