SMYAH - Time Dispersion (A.Fruit Remix)

Blood Trust makes a pitch-black return to the Digital Red Label series with "Give Them Rope" and "Leagues Apart", revealing a decelerated, yet intricate evolution of the signature sound he first introduced on 3024. 

"Give Them Rope" navigates the murky terrain of mutant UK garage and grime influences, hinting at the pulse of Diwali-rhythm dancehall. An ever-present double-time roll punctuates through distorted ambience, evoking a sense of relentless drive. 

"Leagues Apart" delves deeper into the skeletal framework of UK garage, but deviates into a stripped-back, darker space with precision bursts of fragmented breaks. Are these tracks Drum & Bass or has Blood Trust begun an exploration of something else entirely?

On the occasion of his freshest release on the Soul Ex Machina, which appeared almost three years after his label debut, and series of releases on the likes of Deviant Audio, Shakhta records or the Coki´s label AWD. Johney is renowned for his wide musical knowledge and ability to combine elements into unseen variations, which he showcases in his current studio mix. Expect nothing less like journey of bass and rhythms full of groovy moodswings, music both "coming from" and inspirations of the artist. Envelop - Subtle Radio - 09/11/2023

Mtwn, two brothers from a small town in east Belgium, made a mark with several high quality releases between 2012-2014 on labels such as Break-Fast Audio, Dispatch Limited, Proximity Recordings, Samurai Music and of course Diffrent Music.

After a short bit of quiet time, the guys are back with their strongest work to date, a 6 track EP featuring recently completed tunes that span from 2012-2015, with three new solo tracks, two collaborations with Arkaik one which also features work from Dexta & Mauoq and a VIP edit of 'Tech9' which was the flip to their 2013 single on Diffrent Music.

The EP is being released as a limited edition, hand painted and numbered CD package, followed by the digital download bundle via BandCamp and all other decent download stores.
