I repost so many tunes of a day that I need a place to collect and collate - the 'Infinite World' collection is dedicated to that obscene amounts of electronic beats I find that sit comfortably in the bounds of the drum & bass genre.

Pretty non-exclusive to 160-170 bpm as this playlist will pull up jungle tracks that might run around the 150 mark and likewise you might find 1 or two obscene breakcore tracks which may well push 180bpm but none the less, what's in store here is a wild collection of the underground circuit, from the typical straight hard hitting rollers to the wonky, trap-inspired sounds now being championed by the London 20/20 department. For our third release we're very proud to announce our biggest signing to date in the form of one of the West Country's best exports (other than cheese and cider) Mystic State, alongside frequent collaborator and friend, Elias.

The Shanty EP is a stripped back journey though the deep end of D&B, rendolent in lush soundscaping and literally dripping in vibes.

Shanty, the title track, is a thing of beauty. Reminiscent of producers like Four Tet or Gold Panda, it pushes the boundaries of the genre with a deep melancholy.

The remix is Shanty turned up to 11. It has all the depth and meaning of the original, but this time it's built for the dancefloor. Already receiving support from none other than Skeptical, it's a thinking DJs weapon.

Sunday Ones is just that, it's a relaxed halfstepper made for those tender little moments. Patient and deep in equal measure, it's the true definition of a healing sound.

Raindance is Sunday Ones without the calm temprament. Another half step track, Raindance is a brooding, aggressive track that evolves throughout, getting weightier each time.

Out comes the research game, and phone calls fire left right and centre. What comes next? A charity fundraiser is already in the works, a bunch of the label artists have started contributing music, and everyone behind the scenes have pulled together to come up with a selection of fresh cuts, grimey baselines, jungle breaks, halftime gloop and everything in between.

The Giraffe Conservation Foundation (GCF for short) “IS THE ONLY NGO IN THE WORLD THAT CONCENTRATES SOLELY ON THE CONSERVATION AND MANAGEMENT OF GIRAFFE IN THE WILD ACROSS AFRICA” (according to their website at time of print). Their mission statement also says “GCF is dedicated to a sustainable future for all giraffe populations in the wild.” As you may (or should) already know, Diffrent Music have always related it’s branding to the long necked animals and they believe this is a worthy and genuine cause. All proceeds will be donated straight to the GCF and all artists have given their support and consent towards this project. We hope you all enjoy it and can pull together to help ‘Save The Giraffe’.
