Here's the mix I did for the BBC Radio 1 - November was HIP HOP TAKEOVER month. I did an exclusive mix for the "Semtex Show" alongside Mixmaster Mike. A few other DJ homies who did mixes were DJ Craze, DJ Shadow, DJ Cash Money, Just Blaze and Mannie Fresh. The inspiration for this deep roots reggae track came from the natural awe the artist felt when witnessing the birth of his daughter. As Justin Cooney of Machet explains “It was another type of love that gave purpose to life.”  Horns drive the groove as the vocals fade out to dub style.   The natural vibration from the herb serves as an additional healing theme throughout.
