The Copenhagen-based artist Muskila is set to release his new EP, "OK, Fatma," on the 4th of March. The EP takes the listener through emotive club music, incorporating North Kurdish timbres and delving into the realms of bassy dubs. Muskila originally had an EP ready in October last year but decided to delete all tracks and write something completely different that was relevant to the world as he experienced it. The EP was written between October and December 2023 and is a product of how the artist sees the world changing. The visuals for the music portray a contemporary dancer, embodying the concept of being stuck, either physically or mentally.

Furthermore, the EP has 2 remixes and 1 collaborative song. The 1st one from Siu Mata, who has made a name for himself on the club scene with his versatility and genre-bending productions. The 2nd remix is from the Nyege Nyege affiliated artist, DJ Travella, who is responsible for the most exhilarating music of recent years, injecting crackling cybernetic energy into singeli in a semi-improvisational style. Lastly the collaborative song is made with, HEDO HYDR8, an artist who emerges from the rave-rich grounds of Denmark to create immersive, transcendental musical experiences.

We’re thrilled to present the second part of the joint compilation between Tracklistings and Division Virtuel Records!

Following the success of the first volume released in mid-June, we continue the adventure with this second chapter - once again showcasing a diverse and powerful selection of electro tracks. And good news: the third and final part will be dropping in just a few weeks.

A few months ago, Grégory from Tracklistings and Atix from Division Virtuel came up with the idea to launch a compilation that would merge the energy of both our projects. The response was overwhelmingly positive - on our side, and across the electro community.

We received an incredible number of high-quality submissions, making the selection process both exciting and difficult. The result: a rich and diverse compilation to be released in three volumes.

This project took time to shape, involving many artists and contributors. We wanted to do things right - respecting each track, each artist, and crafting a consistent and powerful result.

Tracklistings has been offering mixes and exclusives around electronic music since 2008, without compromise, and has gradually specialized in underground electro. It has become a reference for fans of the genre.

Division Virtuel, based in Lyon and run by Atix, is a label that has been active for over 15 years. After several evolutions, it is now clearly focused on electro and electro-techno.

It’s a monster of a record and undoubtedly the biggest release we’ve had on the label, but after 10 years it seems right to revisit the track and also add some new versions from some of my favourite techno producers." – Radio Slave With Danton Eeprom’s vocal resonating throughout, Faki’s first remix features crunchy snares, ominous chords and shuffling effects before piercing synths come into effect in the latter half. Meanwhile, the second version rumbles forward with its undulating bassline, soaring atmospherics and echoing elements to round up two solid productions exemplary of the Figure founder’s seasoned abilities in the studio.
