Luxus Varta is back on his own label, In Abstracto, with a new four track EP including a remix by SC-164.

Emeric Di Paolo created his Luxus Varta alias in 2015 and has established himself as one of the most unique sounding producers in the field of Electro and IDM, releasing on SolarOneMusic, Klakson, Shipwrec, Trust, Brokntoys, Intramuros and Nocta Numerica.  He is also a regular collaborator with Paris The Black FU (Detroit Grand PuBahs), most notably as Techmarine Bottom Feeders.  In 2020 he launched In Abstracto to release some of his most personal works.

Meanwhile, SC-164 is the brainchild of Brooklyn based Greg Schappert a.k.a. Donor, who’s been bringing his infectious strain of corrosive electro via his eponymously named label as well as the likes of Shipwrec and Cultivated Electronics.

The session was recorded during the lockdown of 2020, when windows were more watched than screens for most of us, and when freedom of thought was the only way to travel.  ‘W’ is a window on freedom, an invitation to do whatever you want by your mind, at anytime, anywhere.  Just close your eyes and listen, nothing can stop you.

La paleta de colores de Diffuse Reality Records se pinta de azul, rojo y blanco, uno de sus matices que explora la música electro. Su nueva referencia la lidera Lloyd Stellar, uno de los alter ego del músico electrónico holandés y dueño de LDI Records, Erik Griffioen.

Se caracteriza por sonidos tipo-máquina, almohadillas melancólicas, vocales conducidas por vocoder y temas futurísticos que usualmente lidian con las consecuencias apocalípticas de la avaricia del ser humano, la relación entre humanos y máquinas y las guerras en distintos planetas.

"Nightwalker" engloba paisajes utópicos futuristas, si nos guiamos por el título de cada una de las pistas que integran este LP. Club Furies les presenta el estreno de 'Lost In The Omega Nebula'.  "Perdido en" es la forma en la que el título nos dice que esta pista se encuentra en el corazón de "Nightwalker", la cual nos lleva hasta la nebulosa Omega.

“Madness Reigned” 2021: the world is a hellhole – pandemic, isolation, social unrest.
Opener “Overvolt” is a full-on industrial assault, a high-voltage plasma gun warfare! Metallic bass, sharp precision hammer beat and pulse stabs take control of your brain.
Sci-fi inspired “The Harvest Room” is dominated by a distorted groovy bass riff, acidic lead and heavy percussion. Midway it changes direction and teleports you into EBM/goth-synth territory!
“Infected Memory” is a surprising MANASYt track and that’s a good thing! Dominated by a syncopated lead and bubbling bass, this is a dark catchy darkwavy number, complete with Bulgarian vocals.
On the flip, “N7” is a horror soundtrack interlude, sinister and paranoid. It is reminiscent of his work as Sam Lowry.
“Tales Of Ignorance” is a classic MANASYt electro stomper, originally written in 2007, here with an updated sound! Solid bassline, macabre strings and clinical arpeggios transport you into a dark hopeless place!
The 7 minute closer is a brilliant and atmospheric, industrial machine-funk remix of “Tales Of Ignorance” by the Spanish duo Telephasycx!, who are responsible for releasing this EP!

“Madness Reigned” takes you on a hypnotic journey to a futuristic dystopian world, blasting this 6 track record as loud as possible is highly recommended!

"Sheepray" is the pseudonym of Nikita Bondarenko, a musician and producer from Russia. Under the Sheepray alias, Nikita has releases on labels as: Raw Union, Paradiso, Soviett, Raw Russia and on the Hilltown Disco imprint. Nikita has released alongside good friend, Larionov and has featured on our Angel Series and their vinyl release for HIL008.

Sheepray is just one of three aliases alongside Kuzina and Supercult. "Kuzina" specialises in synth-pop, with their most recent vinyl dropping on Detriti Records. "Supercult" delves into a crazy mix of freejazz, noise and post-punk.
