Two formidable forces become one as Ian Martin and Roberto Auser pair up for this contribution to the latest V/A from Dalmata Daniel - all for a good cause.

Pure energy shines through our latest compilation, where all producers gathered together for a good cause. Lockdowns and social distancing practices are slowly easing up in the luckier half of the world, yet local producers and clubs are still facing a hard ongoing period of no live shows with a non-existing club culture. As a result, web-based platforms are more important than ever.

The Lahmacun community radio is an integral part of our Budapest scene, as they provide a remarkable online platform not only to musicians and DJs, but to local broadcasters, hosts and music enthusiasts alike. Keeping up the spirit, Lahmacun radio is eager to promote and celebrate music from the local Hungarian scene and from passionate labels, collectives and communities, be it anywhere in the world.

This 20-track fundraising compilation is therefore dedicated to Lahmacun radio. It is presented by 10 local and 10 international producers, hailing from the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Greece and Israel. All of us worked and participated in this compilation to help the operation of this very important platform. All income we receive from sales of this V/A goes to support their work.

Chinanski - Possibilities [LP]

Working as a visual artist and writer, Rotterdam-based Puck Schot once felt the need to express a more masculine voice within her poetry. Curious towards electronic music, she started making experiments around 2019 as Acidic Male. In that same year she started collaborating with RJM Vanderheyden as 'Vot'ress' as well, combining harsh noise with nature sounds and Shakespearean texts. Since then, she has a high interest in industrial sounds, her Korg MS-20 mini, hypnotic drum patterns and experimental vocals. Having her performer name as a revenge title, she searches to “other” herself into the position of a manipulator, perpetrating the listener through the duality of softness and harshness within subtle violent sounds and poetry. Yet, typically what is left is merely a penetration of herself as the subject, exposing her confessions, memories and hauntologies. She is simply ripping in two - in front of an audience.

PHXS16 is coming from Athens based ritual electronic project Current 23. 

In the field of this initial contraction, a principal light was set. The following diffusion, led to a state of fracture. Its concussions and vibrations constituted the tinder upon whom, the sonic transaction of this chaotic current was formed. The later’ s recording is captured as a gust, but also as a jubilation, in this specific cassette. Speaking of the ritualistic foundations of this audio amalgamation, these are fundamentally based upon certain – and monumental, as well – cases of artists such as Vidna Obmana and Zero Kama. Not neglecting to move on other, so far unearthed, aspects and paths. Feasting upon the altar of chaotic expansion. During the recordings various instruments were used and processed electronically together with voices and samples. Current 23 are George Kanavos, George Diamantopoulos and Fr K141
