The Chaos Computer Club is Germany's primary source for futuristic and alternative thinking since the 80s. Each year between Christmas and New Year's Eve, this association gathers hackers from all over the galaxy for a huge congress. Under the given conditions, the convention had to move to an online exile for the 2020 edition: The "Remote Chaos Experience" (RC3). Music and all kinds of arts are an integral part of these conventions - this set is one of the contributions to the four-day streaming marathon that soundtracked the RC3 (27 - 30th of December, 2020).

The set is inspired around the central theme of the album Ipnopedion made by Timo van Luijk & Frederik Croene. An album superbly built from the hypnosis session that Pier Fortunato Zanfretta agreed to undergo in order to find meaning after he had been abducted by a UFO. A sonic invitation that extracts how it feels to be taken by extraterrestrial forces.

This August, it has been two years since launching the first iteration of the 9128.live 24/7 streaming site + app. 

We didn’t know back then, that the additional live weekend takeovers would be such an escape for us all during the lockdowns and a way to connect, keep a small community together and discover even more new music. But they ended up becoming some of our fondest memories over the past two years. So we’ll be celebrating this milestone with another marathon takeover on August 20th.

Biography:
Josephine’ Soundscapes is the pseudonym of Jose Salas, an active promoter of alternative culture in Madrid. As a Dj, he always works with a mixture of investigation of the past and a strong commitment to the present. He's part of a_mal_gam_a and CALMA collectives, both working in Spain underground scene. He also hosts a bimonthly radio program on Radio Relativa called "Campos de Marte", focused on experimentation in music.

Here's a little track that I created whilst learning Ableton with @dj_tzusi. He drove the mouse whilst I led with my ears and pointy finger, together we've created a deep liquid track that features piano and orchestral sounds with a wobbly baseline.
