Mano Lephonik, aka Emanuele D’Angelo, was born in Rome in 1983. He developed a passion for music in the early ’90s through the progressive sounds of MONDO RADIO, a famous Roman radio station, and by frequenting CYBORG, a historic techno club of the ’90s. Over the years, his musical culture expanded to include other genres like house music, and by the late ’90s, he began collecting his first vinyl records.

In the early 2000s, he started mixing records in some of Rome’s top clubs such as Qube, Alibi, the former NRG (Orion Club), Alien, Neo Club, and many others from the Roman electronic scene. He performed alongside artists like Emanuele Inglese, Emix, D.Lewis, Alex Neri, Ricky Montanari, Todd Terry, and many more.

In recent years, he has developed a strong passion for vinyl-only techno. His eclectic sets span techno, minimal, house, and acid, always in search of the perfect sound while maintaining an underground style.
