CABOO is a DJ and music producer based in Germany, originally from Kosovo. With a distinctive sound and vibrant stage presence, he has become a respected figure in the European electronic music scene. Caboo’s performances are characterized by an energetic atmosphere and immersive sonic storytelling, created through a masterful selection of top musical records and deep, emotional fragments that connect both the individual listener and the collective crowd.

Throughout his career, Caboo has shared the stage with internationally renowned artists such as Diplo, Meduza, Calvin Harris, Black Coffee, Peggy Gou, Mahmut Orhan, Groove Armada, and The Martinez Brothers, among others.

His sets explore a wide spectrum of electronic genres, including:

Caboo’s journey as an international DJ began in 2007 at Renome Club in Montenegro, and since then he has performed at some of the most recognized venues and festivals across Europe.

From Sunderland to the pulse of London’s underground scene, Neilsens crafts dark, rolling, and hypnotic techno. His journey began in the mid-90s, when a 15-year-old Neilsens was drawn into the UK’s electronic music scene, swept up by the older crowds who followed the likes of Sasha, John Digweed, and Paul Oakenfold across the country. Hooked on the energy and craft of DJing, he saved up for a pair of belt-driven Kam decks and a Numark mixer, pouring every spare penny into vinyl and late nights chasing the rhythm of underground dance floors.
Over the years, his taste evolved. First immersing himself in London’s gritty tech house scene, then exploring the moodiness of minimal house. By 2010, repeated trips to Berlin and long, euphoric nights at Berghain solidified his deep connection to techno. It was there, standing in the main room with 145bpm techno pounding through the speaker stacks, that he knew this was the music he wanted to live and breathe.
Neilsens has been dabbling in music production since the early 2000s, but it wasn’t until early 2017 that he began taking it seriously. The past eight years have been dedicated to refining his craft, finding his sound, and reaching a point where he is satisfied with what he creates. His work is driven by the buzz of constant improvement, the excitement of releasing music, and the personal reward of building something that feels both powerful and true to his vision. For him, the studio is both a creative engine and a place of decompression, where outside stresses fade and the music takes over.
His focus is firmly on production, crafting music that works as much for deep listening as it does for the dance floor. He thrives on blending the tactile unpredictability of hardware with the precision and flexibility of software, often beginning with live jams before shaping and arranging tracks digitally. His productions explore the deep and hypnotic corners of techno, infused with tribal rhythms, rolling low-end grooves, and an unmistakably moody, atmospheric edge.
Neilsens’s first official release came in 2008 with a remix of Rennie Foster’s Devil’s Water on ReBirth, alongside James Zabiela and Gabriel & Dresden. Since then, he has honed his craft and drawn inspiration from artists such as Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Rene Wise, and Alarico, as well as the immersive energy of clubs like Berghain and FOLD. More recently, his tracks have been championed by artists on Berlin’s Loone Radio, and supported by Rene Wise, Alarico, Ketch, A. Morgan, Flits, and more - further cementing his presence in the European underground scene.
On the decks, Neilsens crafts journeys through moody, atmospheric soundscapes, always with a focus on tension, movement, and emotional pull. Whether in an intimate basement or playing to a larger crowd, his sets are about total immersion, pulling the dance floor deep into shadow and groove.
For Neilsens, techno is more than music; it's an escape, a deep dive into rhythm where both DJ and crowd lose themselves. As his sound continues to evolve, one constant remains: a commitment to the darker, edgier, and more hypnotic side of the dance floor.
