CABOO – Kosovo-born DJ & Producer Based in Germany

CABOO is a DJ and music producer based in Germany, originally from Kosovo. With a distinctive sound and vibrant stage presence, he has become a respected figure in the European electronic music scene. Caboo’s performances are characterized by an energetic atmosphere and immersive sonic storytelling, created through a masterful selection of top musical records and deep, emotional fragments that connect both the individual listener and the collective crowd.

Throughout his career, Caboo has shared the stage with internationally renowned artists such as Diplo, Meduza, Calvin Harris, Black Coffee, Peggy Gou, Mahmut Orhan, Groove Armada, and The Martinez Brothers, among others.

His sets explore a wide spectrum of electronic genres, including:
Techno, Melodic Techno, Tech House, Deep Tech, Minimal, and Afro House.

Caboo’s journey as an international DJ began in 2007 at Renome Club in Montenegro, and since then he has performed at some of the most recognized venues and festivals across Europe.

Biography
Empirical as a hard sip spilling from a discharged battery. There is always a nihilistic fetish in these youngsters dealing with technology. Stefano Martino, aka R A S H, is never hiding this darkest side in his composition. His machinery becomes a ritual object within which his human state becomes an algorithmic begging of change making its appearance at warm 50 hertz complacency.

His sound exploration is elaborated through decadent, post-industrial soundscapes inscribing the full failure of a consumer society which noise becomes an evidence whilst its awareness is modelled, reworked within a dystopian hexavalent chromium taste, blended into the future. MEDLEX shapes techno with hypnotic drive, layered textures, and an intentional sense of depth. His sets are immersive constructions, moving through shifting grooves, abstract patterns, and raw intensity. Rather than following a linear path, he connects different shades of techno—ranging from deep and hypnotic to energetic and driving—always with a direction.

As a producer, MEDLEX mirrors this approach in the studio, crafting tracks that evolve through rhythm and atmosphere, marked by tension, movement, and contrast. His music has been released on Xelima Records, Subhills, and DONKER, with more releases coming up.

Outside the booth and studio, MEDLEX is behind DONKER, an Amsterdam-based label and collective launched in 2023. DONKER provides a platform for artists to explore and express the darker dimensions of their sound, fostering a community built on collaboration, experimentation, and uncompromising creative vision.
