Love this. Very minimal, but the usage of filters kept me very engaged and and in a trance like state. Love the groove of the percusion and that underlying atmos synth that drives it, it hypnotises the listener. When the song finished I felt like I had woken up from a dream. I love how this song makes me feel, I feel calm and relaxed.

Having developed their brand of abyssal club music through releases on Amenthia Recordings & their own imprint A Walking Contradiction, Varuna dive into the void on ‘Remote Pulsar’. Driven by a disorientating polyrhythm cloaked in opaque atmospherics, the trio’s otherworldly approach to sound design is on full display. French imprint Melifera Records is back with their latest offering being a diverse release centered around Biocym and his track, Wadis. The five track EP includes interpretations by Piante Vive, Sauvage Dub Trio, Arto, and Biocym himself with a deep vision rework.

As the name implies, Arto’s remix or ‘Fractured dub’ is exactly that. A well executed halftime chugger that breaks apart the original and reassembles it in a twisted manner that keeps things fresh and gets the head nodding. Ever-shifting drum lines and siren-like melodies keep the atmosphere heavy while maintaining a core groove that is ever so loved here at Delayed.
