Darko Kolar 
(Katran, Jezgro, Ontal)

Katran is the main solo project of Darko Kolar, who is also one half of the Ontal (alongside with Boris Brenecki), and he is also part of Impuls Controls (a project of Ontal and Blush Response). 
Darko Kolar is also the founder of Jezgro label and Ontal Series.

Darko's residence is up on the north of Serbia in the city of Subotica. His musical career started in 2005. under Dekode moniker. He passionately started to collect records and slowly to produce music. Soon enough hi started to release music on different labels alongside with the names such as Si Begg, 
Radioactiveman, Sillicon Scally, Scape One and more. Even until today he plays some of that old electro, breakbeat, IDM stuff  that may be forgotten. 

The year of 2011. was one of the most important years in his musical career. Ever since forming Ontal his musical career advanced. With Ontal being recognized amongst leading industrial techno/experimental names on the world scene, Darko has developed a new way of expressing himself through Katran project. He puts all of his creative force and energy into his music, so the stuff that he creates as Katran is dark, rough and intensive, always in a constant change.

In 2016 Darko launched a label called Jezgro. The first release was by MRTVI, on of the Huren's pseudonym and with additional remix by Violet Poison. The second release came out in 2017, created by the master of noise music - Merzbow. The main focus of the label is to represent more obscure, dark and unstructured parts of the electronic music. Crucial aesthetical core of the label are genres such as 
harsh noise, industrial techno, drone, off beat techno, rhythmic noise, ambiental and similar styles.

With his latest EP, It's Cancelled, featuring diffused electronics on the A-Side and menacing drum infestations on the B-Side, Serge Geyzel keeps pounding beats and bass into oblivion. Adepta Editions expertly compiles these recordings onto vinyl and digital media, emphasizing timeless limited editions. While "Take Your Time And Be Mine" deftly walks the line between Plaid-infused melodics and Clark's shuffling rhythms, "Before the Silence Came" features fuzzy electrical sound fields that eventually collapse, while Serge Geyzel crafts his distinctive characteristic textures. With percussive acrobatics and synth strands floating away, "Come Closer" bookends the A-Side.

Conversely, "Renamed" kicks a hole in our bass bins with its rough outer shell that combines parts of MBM and DHS staccato beat work (listen to Man From Mantis on Love Love to compare and contrast). It seems like Geyzel has flipped a mystical switch and gone completely drum focused. "It's Cancelled" ends with an avalanche of glitchy blips and bleeps covering the landscape with rough and funky rhythms, while "Out of Context" continues to push low-wobbling dub limits with rapid fire beats, bass, and distortion.

Absolutely killer lineup at this festival, and top vibe both days. Big up Subland & ad noiseam for putting this up. Swarm & mono in full defect in a special liveset for this event, smashing shit up in the bar area. Turned out to be a 1 1/2 hour gig and this is the last uptempo part of it. ¡Feliz Año a tod@s! Hemos tardado en felicitaros pero queríamos hacerlo con un regalo en forma de set y es que hoy arrancamos de nuevo con las UEMA Series y Wavelet es el responsable de la entrega número 82.
Wavelet es valenciano, matemático y amante, conocedor y defensor del Electro más purista. Bien conocidas son las fiestas We Are The Robots, de las que fue cofundador, y que durante años bajo el amparo de Hypnotica Colectiva, se convirtieron en un verdadero foco de resistencia Electro en el Levante. Y es que Wavelet además de ser un gran conocedor del Electro e IDM es todo un activista.
Fruto de su conocimiento y nivel de implicación con la escena Electro es el nuevo proyecto en el que, nuestro querido Wavelet, se ha embarcado y es que próximamente estrena sello, Tensor Norm, cuyo primer vinilo lo firman ADJ y Sigma Álgebra (cofundador del sello).
Wavelet es un gran amigo del Colectivo y la verdad que andábamos con muchas ganas de publicar alguno de sus magistrales sets, y no ha fallado, Wavelet nos trae una selección perfecta a vinilo y muy bien mezclada.

Eliminator, thriving force behind Kontra Kult Records, brings pumping & mind swearing acid, techno and everything in between. Started almost 25 years ago, with a break of 7 years together with homies Arkanoid, Mr. Gasmask, Dr. Evil and Phenomecron. 

Eliminator spins records & performs live, which he likes the most. He accounted for several releases on labels in Belgium, Holland, USA and France, with 2 Zodiak Commune Records releases (for you to guess which ones ;-)).
