Continuamos con nuestra serie de podcast, en la que alcanzamos la nº 105, la cual nos hace trasladarnos hasta Reino Unido, concretamente hasta la ciudad de Nottingham donde encontramos al señor Matt Flack , conocido artísticamente como G3CKO .

Es un entusiasta del vinilo y que lleva en esto de la música electrónica durante la mayor parte de su vida. 
Su interés por la electrónica comienza escuchando temas como Oxygene y grupos como Visage, de la mano de sus tías cuando era niño, y mas adelante acercándose al sonido electro y a la música dance antigua de los años 80 y 90. 

Durante ese periodo fue cuando descubrió el genero del techno y su cultura. La forma en que la música y la fiesta se vuelven uno, y encaja perfectamente entre extraños bailando y disfrutando como alguna forma de tribalismo en un espacio audiovisual. 

A los 19 años empezó a jugar con los platos y a comprar discos siempre que podía y a día de hoy sigue aplicando la misma ética, como el bien afirma "es un estilo de vida, es parte de ti, es así de simple" ¡El vinilo tiene un elemento humano propio, puedes sentirlo en tus manos!

Desde ese momento, ha estado involucrado en muchas fiestas y eventos a lo largo de todos los años. 
Estuvo al frente del programa/podcast Reptilian, que estuvo emitiendo unos 3 años, en el cual pudo contar con grandes invitados y en el que programaba música de todo el mundo.

Durante estos últimos años ha estado centrado un nuevo proyecto, llevando el sello discográfico Solemne Records, que dirige con sus compañeros Cyd & Clefomat.

Para este podcast, G3CKO72 nos propone un estupendo set donde nos muestra los sonidos con los que se siente mas identificado a día de hoy y cargado de mucho techno con cierto toque acido y oscuro donde podemos encontrar una muy cuidada selección y una gran tecnica en la mezcla.

Continue with our podcast series, in which we reach number 105, which takes us to the United Kingdom, specifically to the city of Nottingham where we find Mr. Matt Flack, artistically known as G3CKO.

He is a vinyl enthusiast and has been into electronic music for most of his life.
His interest in electronic music began listening to songs like Oxygene and groups like Visage, from the hand of his aunts when he was a child, and later approaching the electro sound and the old dance music of the 80s and 90s.

It was during that period that he discovered the techno genre and its culture. The way the music and the party become one, and he fits right in between strangers dancing and enjoying like some form of tribalism in an audiovisual space.

At the age of 19, he began to play with turntables and buy records whenever he could, and to this day he continues to apply the same ethic, as he says "it's a lifestyle, it's part of you, it's that simple"! has a human element of its own, you can feel it in your hands!

Since then, he has been involved in many parties and events throughout the years.
He was in charge of the Reptilian program / podcast, which was broadcasting for about 3 years, in which he was able to count on great guests and in which he programmed music from all over the world.

During these last few years he has been focusing on a new project, running the record label Solemn Records, which he runs with his partners Cyd & Clefomat.

For this podcast, @G3CKO72 offers us a great set where he shows us the sounds with which he feels most identified today and loaded with a lot of techno with a certain acid and dark touch where we can find a very careful selection and a great technique in the mix.

'JFR' is an online, blind and rule-less, sudden collaboration between three minds alike.
A quick and quirky exercise,of sounds thrown at each other for further additive or subtractive edits by each one. A three-layered game for connecting and understand each other in a different way too.

The result was three unprocessed cuts of broken music, exploratory technoid patterns and 3 simultaneous speeches trying to cohabitate. An ink sketch on a empty page released in 2 parts. ' This second part comes with the kaleidoscopic perspective of the original track by almighty Estrato Aurora.

As a devotee of nature, Atoloi explores sound creating a mellow amalgam of layers using over-reverberated synths, field recordings, and self-created samples.
Not choosing the club-oriented way as a first calling, instead, his productions search for other depths, in which the listener can get lost while getting submerged by heavy-grained noises and evocative instrumental compositions.

Although it has slipped from prominence in the current news cycles, Russia's aggression against Ukraine still continues to escalate.

As Ukrainian people are still in urgent need of support, we have come together using the only thing we know how, music.

We asked 21 artists from Futurepast's friends to create a track that keeps Ukraine's situation in mind and results in a compilation that is rather varied. We hear ambient and downtempo right through to more personal and abstract interpretations of techno.

All proceeds will be donated to the Ukrainian charity, Voices of Children, who are supporting children who have lost their parents in this war; the poorest and most helpless victims.

The 60's were a good era for 'psychedelic' music - at least, this is what's said. Allow me some visual clanging and flip that 6 to a 9 and talk about the Seattle 90's, also effluent in the 'psychedelic':

"I’ve been listening to old Nirvana bootlegs. I can say my music is influenced by the smashing of instruments at the end of their gigs. Each one is a unique orchestration but within a structure until it exhausts itself. It’s not random or just noise. There is a timing and build of tension. It is even more dramatic to only hear it rather than to watch it.

Kurt Cobain used to make music by surfing the radio and piecing it together with no editing, like early musique concrete collages. He had an old cassette recorder where you have to push the record and play buttons together and then push pause. You can hear the clicks, the getting up to speed..."*

What began as a sound piece created to accompany an alien-themed art exhibit in Philadelphia quickly evolved into something far more expansive before making its debut at the show. “sounds from an otherworldly place” is a sonic odyssey: a story of interstellar exploration and transformation told in five acts across space and time.

On this radical departure from her usual style, Mazy showcases her versatility by pushing the boundaries of her own craft. Experiments in sound design, synthesis, and field recording coalesce into haunting atmospheres and emotionally rich ambient worlds.

What emerges is both cosmic and intimate: a meditation on fear and fascination with the unknown.
