Dallas techno renegade TX Connect (Gavin Guthrie) delivers on his first EP for Dead Channel. With releases on L.I.E.S., Crème Organization, Medical Records, Dixon Avenue Basement Jams, and his own Texas Recordings Underground imprint, the veteran producer has cultivated his unique sound over the years and brings it to bear with Jerusalem's Lot: a dark collection of 707-capped acid melters and foreboding interstellar synthscapes. Seguimos fuera de nuestras fronteras y vamos hasta la ciudad de Turku (Finlandia) en busca de nuestra invitada, Dora Gray.

Descubrir a Dora Gray y no poder dejar de escuchar sus sesiones fue todo uno. Electro, Techno, Breaks, House o IDM muy bien seleccionado son su seña de identidad, eso sí, todo bien rociado de 303, y es que el ácido la acompaña allá donde va. Dora Gray es una apasionada de la música desde bien pequeña y lleva 15 años comprando discos, investigando estilos y puliendo su técnica a los platos, todo ello la ha convertido en una Dj metódica, precisa y con un discurso musical muy serio y elaborado. 

Es parte activa del colectivo The X-Rust Organization (Turku) cuya filosofía no es otra que mostrar y apoyar la escena local mediante una serie de podcast y eventos musicales de alto nivel.
Dora Gray es sin duda una de los nuestros y estamos muy orgullosos de contar con ella en nuestra serie de podcast.

Para esta ocasión Dora Gray nos trae un set en clave Electro con muchas texturas y mezclado con mucha clase y una técnica magistral.

Neon Ghosts is our little detour into a completely different world – away from the dark realms, diving into a synthetic ocean of neon lights, retro beats, and cyberpunk melancholy. This synthwave–electro–ambient album is a passion project by Raphaela Hartmann, Sascha Häusler, and Thomas Kaiser – all devoted fans of synthwave and cyberpunk culture.

We simply couldn’t resist exploring this genre ourselves – painting glitch-stars across the digital sky and creating soundscapes that feel like neon rain, chrome dreams, and distant cityscapes.

This is just our first step – an experiment, a side project made with love and pure fun.
If you enjoy our little venture and the feedback is positive, we’ll continue building and expanding this journey.

The Standalone Series welcomes this week a seasoned DJ, Urko, (@stefan-urko) also formerly known as REDRUM. This Lille resident was active on the local techno scene for a long time and toured Belgian clubs in the early 2ks, eventually residing in the renowned "The Kiosk" in Lille. With HI-tech Procedure and his friend Eric Fetcher, they also organized a lot of gigs.
After a few years of hiatus, this historian of the northern scene returns to the decks through @moicflo and Les Charades Electroniques, and now on the web-radio ECUnderground where he manages the podcast "Drink My Soul" in the company of your host and Fik.
Very eclectic, he re-explores all styles: electronica, sci-fi techno or the rougher sounds of Birmingham.
He gives us here a rather Dark Electro and rough breaks set which brings together some classics: REGIS, TENSAL or LUKE SLATER, and more felt tracks, from his last encounters and peregrinations with ADJ, VSK, Kim COSMIK, oake or ERRORBEAUTY.

Roberto Rey (better known as Negocius Man)is a Spanish artist that began his career as a DJ in 1997 and as a producer in 1999. His beginings in music date back to the Hip-Hop era of the early 90's and the Electro of the 80's and 90's. He was part of the Hip-Hop group MFD2 along with Mackfrank, Darmo, Julia with her alias Dj. 

He performed in Madrid in clubs such as: Kea, Davai, El Sol, Siroco, Social centers such as Seko, Laboratory, and nationally in Sala El Grito (Murcia), Sala El Arrebato (Zaragoza), The Orritxo (Bilbao). Specka,  BAS (Madrid), My Beat, Femur Fest (2015) in Live format, Three Monkeys Festival, Electrocamp (Valencia), Republik, Moroder Sound Club, Yasta, and many more.

In 1999, he began his first contact with machines such as Roland MC303 and software such as Fruity Loops and Fastracker. In 2000, it is when he begins to use his aka NEGOCIUS MAN. In 2003 he creates What if ... Prods & Mixtapes for the promotion of his music in specialized magazines, in 2005 he disconnected from the world of Hip-Hop almost completely to go further into the Electro and decided in 2007 to create his own club, THE KINGS_ELECTROBAR in Alcázar de San Juan (C. Real)in which he made very good public relations. 

In 2008 he decides to acquire new hardware and returns to Madrid, publishes in ELEKTRODOMESTICOS 2 and 3 in Fundamental Records (Madrid) label where it's usual to find his references on vinyl. Since then he has not stopped publishing in different labels such as Mars Frequency Records (Madrid) , Bankai Records (C.Real), Binalog Frequency Records (Greece), Beathazard (Bcn), Eclectic Reactions Records (Bilbao), Elektrodos (Zamora) Electroclub (Bcn), Urban Connections (Jaen) Crobot Muzik (London / Croatia), Subsonic device (Germany), and since 2014 on its own MICROM RECORDS label.

Across the years he has shared decks with artists such as Awco, Waje DJ, Dj. F, Groof, David Aragon, Durban Noise, Robert Cosmic, The Zenobit3, Julia Pé, Sace 2, Bas Madrid, Eleztrik Body, MEKA, SEEK2012, Darxid, Lektroid, Arch, Fer Xploxion, Antoni Maiovvi, Hyboid, Mauro Nakimi, Vema or Spy, plus many more.

In today's episode Negocius Man has crafted an angular, robotic-rhythmic spacey electro vinyl-only mix. This for sure will pummel the late-hours dancefloor. Whistleblower.
