Charlieowo's DJ journey originated from a love in psychedelic music, but she has since broadened her collection to encompass a wide variety of genres. Her song selection knows no bounds when it comes to BPM or musical style - trippy, bass, deep and hypnotic elements from different genres are seamlessly weaved into her soundscapes, bending listeners’ minds and drawing them into a captivating spiral. Whether you want to be floating in trance or stomp your feet heavily, Charlie has got you covered.

Beyond her appearances at various parties in Hong Kong, Charlie also launched her own YouTube channel in early 2023. Armed with her camping chair and DJ controller, she ventures into various natural landscapes to share non-dancefloor music, creating a space for everyone to pause, breathe, and escape from the usual hustle and bustle. Charlie is also the co-founder of Shimai Tribe, a party collective that specialises in organising themed parties with unique set designs to provide attendees with an immersive music experience.

A collaboration between friends and life long enthusiasts of breakbeat and rave music in all its various forms, Brent Aquasky (Amen Brother/Vinyl Fanatiks) and Damo B (Emotec/Outta Limits) are the players behind AmenTec.

An imprint dedicated to the cross pollination of artists who record on their respective labels. Their mission: coming together to fill the spaces between the Electro, Techno and good old fashioned UK Hardcore.

Encompassing the sounds and all important ethos of the golden era of rave, AmenTec has been making its mark over the last few years. Welcoming upstarts MOY, Bufo Bufo, Diplomat & Beagle, Fugitive, Silver Fox and Sound Synthesis to don their battle gear and reach for the lasers on this collector focused “special edition” battle series.

With the label approching its 7th release, the time is right to present a 13 track compilation of select works to celebrate their mission. “Off Ya Box – Part One” brings together label highlights and a whole bunch of exclusive cuts.

From the spatial Acid tones of Sound Synthesis to the juddering Tech-Step of Bobo, there’s no messing when it comes to the robotic Funk of Dawl, the jilted waves of Zobol, the EZ roll of Lloyd Stellar, or knockout sounds of Flatliner for that matter.

SameSame is back with the second release of the Exclusive Series.
Two tracks that leave nothing to be desired.
In typical SameSame fashion, the A-side is a classic dancefloor track. Minimalist drums and a sophisticated bassline paired with pad-heavy synthesizer sounds create the vibe.
If you're into breakbeat, you can't ignore the B-side. The arrangement clearly invites you to dance. 909-heavy hi-hats and an energetic bass speak their own language.

The enigmatic production collective 4 6 2 5 continue on their purposed sonic path with a 12” release which is in every sense a tale of two sides. 

‘Sedition’ as its namesake would suggest is a call to arms for the headstrong, a Drum & Bass clarion call to the faithful to drop tools and rebel. 

‘Crown of Nails’ paints from the same palette grounding down to a lower tempo and grinding into a percussive fervour, punctuated only with brief interludes of machine hiss and noise.
