just-us records is a collaborative dig, online shop, and sometimes record label by Bill Spencer, who lives in detroit and Izaak, who lives in San Francisco. the two of them dj frequently in their respective cities and occasionally elsewhere. their mutual obsession with and love of all kids of sound has catapulted them, together, through the vastness of recorded music and the possibilities of sharing it with others. this particular mix is put together from a multi-year effort to explore the worlds of independently-produced R&B, Soul, Jazz, Hip Hop, etc. etc. from the CD/PC era of the early 00’s. We hope you enjoy just as much as we did!

To share those feelings of relaxation, reflection and a sense of discovery. Julian Horn is a DJ, record collector and producer now living in Vienna. He was contributing mixes to Noncollective, Growing Bin, Higher Love and more lovely blogs. @Yssue (aka Dima Nekrotkov) is an multidisciplinary musician and dj from Moscow. Together with his mate @iggyej they are running all musical stuff for the creative association @estheticjoys including parties and podcast series. Dima got his recent release on Belgrade's label @yesbelgrade called "This Is The Laughing Gas" and also upcoming stuff on Lyon based label KUMP. 
The podcast Yssue recorded for Scene city turned out to be eclectic and pushy, with a lot of turns, ups and downs, just the way he wanted it to be. Let the music speak for itself!
