Igor Shtenge's journey into the heart of music began 11 years ago when he moved from Nikolaev to Kyiv. It was there that he delved into sound engineering, swiftly making a name for himself by skillfully equipping numerous upscale bars and restaurants with superior sound systems. His fascination with electronic music soon emerged, particularly gravitating towards a rhythmic blend of house and techno. This newfound passion led him to DJ at private events and undertake sound projects for L8 Park, marking the start of his active DJ career.

Now, Igor Shtenge stands as a devoted collector and connoisseur of house music, with a collection and musical knowledge that surpass his years in the field. He dedicates most of his free time to discovering hidden musical gems, aiming to revive the rich, warm vibes of the 90s. This era, renowned for its eclectic blend from Acid & Electro to Garage, Disco, and House music, is a constant source of inspiration for him.

Shtenge's genuine commitment and love for music have propelled him to the forefront of the Ukrainian House scene. Currently, he's not only a staple in the capital's house party circuit but also a regular at major festivals like Ostrov Festival and Kurazh. Additionally, Igor is:

A co-organizer of luxury summer parties aboard the Silver Wave yacht, known as L8 Boat (by L8Park).
A sought-after figure at fashion events in Kyiv, including boutique openings and famous designers' birthdays.
A creator of musical compilations for runway shows from local designers.
This list only scratches the surface of his accomplishments, which have garnered the respect of Ukraine's discerning dance music aficionados.

Igor Shtenge's DJ sets are a testament to his passion. A glance at any of his performances in the city's venues reveals his exceptional ability to connect with the audience and deliver exactly what the moment calls for. This intuitive connection with the dance floor is a hallmark of his style, setting him apart in each performance.

My musical background starts with a natural meeting with music, truly casual in a normal daily life, listening to rock, metal, hip hop, rap, disco, classical, and ambient music on MTV.
Then in the teenager years some older friends gave me the first CDs and MP3s of DJ sets, recorded live from the early 90's parties of the progressive techno scene, before the YouTube era, with sounds from now closed clubs like Jaiss, Insomnia, Imperiale, Matrix, with legendary Italian DJs who shaped the sound of that era, such as Francesco Farfa, Alex Neri, Miki The Dolphin, Alexander Robotnick, Daniele Gas, Francesco Passantino and Franchino who brought the progressive sound of Tuscany and Europe as well.
Later going in the clubs of Florence and Tuscany, such as Tenax, Tabasco, Club21, Giga, Cielo, Seven Eleven, Bahia, Tinì, Maracana and Meccanò. 
In the early 2008, the club scene in Tuscany was at its best with a fresh new scene with music culture and international influence with DJs from London, Berlin, Barcelona, USA and the locals DJs.
Nights and mornings dancing with friends and new ones, listening to music from various collectives and parties, such as Nobody's Perfect, Bring The Noise, Bahn Der Beats, Dissidanza, and Lattex+. 
Moments on the dance floor, with DJs who proposed sounds and stories that shaped my musical taste, later going to festivals like Love Family Park in Germany (2011) with afterparty at the Cocoon Club in Frankfurt, and Dimensions Festival (2013), the Berghain/Panorama Bar in Berlin, Dude Club in Milan, and the MagickBar in Rome.
My record collection is a reflection of those years and is a continuous evolution in a journey through emotions and discoveries, starting in 2012 with my first CDs and vinyls from DiscoMastelloni, one of the first record shop in Florence, where I made a casual but interesting dig with a dear friend. 
Then also other records shop like MarqueMoon and Contempo records, Frequenze/Disco Scratch and in recent years, the new LogOutRecords and SleeveRecords.

There are records that remind me of the early days, when music was not just a background for the clubbing life, but mainly a lovely and safe hidden lair in the days and nights of life.
Others that remind me of the moments of growth and discovery.
I've been lucky to have two friends who shared with the passion for music, the founders of the collective and party events Sight and Definite Form, where they propose fine selectors, good diggers great dj and met other like-minded people. 
They were with me in many moments, and we shared our passion for electronic music, as well as other genres.
