With appearances at the likes of Adonis, Tender, Maricas, Eris Drew’s Temple of Dreams, La Noche, BDE, Panorama Bar, De School and much more, the colourful universe of South London’s Angel D’lite takes in all shades of the rave - horny organs, high camp vocals, big breaks and thumping bass underscore their genre-bending sets that span tempos and time. This hour of luscious power perfectly evokes this, as thumping drum loops, erotic basslines and ethereal synths blend seamlessly.

Next up in our Digest series is our good mate Antoni aka Antek!

I first met Antoni last year when he invited me down to Planet Wax for one of his instalments of 'Antek Invites', a regular event he hosts at the shop showcasing the breadth and depth of his taste alongside friends and other DJs who he knows will match the vibe. 

A true gent with a genuine passion for music, Antek's been part of the Planet Wax crew for ~18 months with regular appearances and events at the shop, alongside other gigs around South London, as well as radio appearances on Subtle, Aaja, Kool FM, Balamii, and Netil to name a few. 

He even played the Steel City of Sheffield recently at the newly established Gut Level, a queer community DIY space in the heart of the city centre.

Seven Hills Digest 022 - Antek

Saturday 1st March, Berlin-based record label Stólar hosted a special record release party at Inverted Audio Record Store in Peckham celebrating the launch of Will You’s first ever physical extended player, 'Is It 2 Late?'. This recording captures Will You's all vinyl DJ set emanating deep and playful vibes. Big up to everyone that attended the in-store it was a truly magical evening.

"Akin to previous associates on this series, this mix was recorded partially sedated in the midst of some kind of post fezzy man flu/COVID/after glow. Came out alright in the end. The mix is a bit harder and darker than my normal home listening fodder, but I tried to channel those early 00s CD mix series vibes and create a selection of blends that would be good for driving, or the afters."
