Founder of BrainRave Music and Former Label Manager at Renegade Hardware, Shindigs first found his love for 'dance' music whilst he was still attending school in the early 90's.  His older brother would buy all the old Eclipse, Amnesia House, Perception, Fibreoptics, Quest tape packs which became the soundtrack to his early teens.   The years that followed saw him obsess with the somewhat natural progression of Jungle, Happy Hardcore through to Drum & Bass. 

At 16 years of age Midlands based Tollgate Shindigs was hosting his own multi genre events in various local pubs and clubs which led to a regular event called ‘Nocturnal Combustion’ at the once thriving Crazy Daisies in Coventry.  At these events he would book and DJ alongside artists in the calibre of Andy C, Ed Rush, Bryan Gee, SS, Bad Company, Ratty, GQ, and Flux.

In the early 2000's he learned his craft at Coventry Technical College where he studied Music Technology.  In the years that followed he has had successful releases on both Root97 and BrainRave Music with more releases in the pipeline.

Fast forward 30 years and having recently played for brands such as Amnesia House, Raveology, Standard Procedure Presents & BrainRave Music he has once again become an active member of the Drum & Bass community and has found a renewed passion for both DJ’ing and Music Production.
