After last years highly successful Underground Sound of Ibiza release we are very happy to come back with Series 2.

Featuring 30 exclusive new tracks spanning over 3 discs the 2am and 4am parts reflect the more club based sounds featuring the likes of Carlo Lio, Ramon Tapia, Guy J, Whyt Noyz, The Japanese Popstars and Jimmy Van M. For the first track, our well known Hamburg based DJ and producer, HATZLER teams up with a long term friend and studio partner ANDRE WINTER, a man influential in shaping the sound of today's club scene throughout over the last decades from working as executive producer for the likes of Xenia Beliayeva, Oliver Huntemann as well as the Huntemann + Dubfire project to being involved into bands and projects reaching far beyond electronic dancefloors.

It's a groundbreak track with very solid production and a crazy mixture of refined textures with robust percussion and bass that will catch the attention of every listenner. A dark and mysterious aesthetic that puts you on fire when the kick kicks in!

On the remix work we find ANDRES GIL. He is just seriously an amazing and prolific producer and this work is everything you are looking for. Raw techno vibes that will get you hooked to the stabs. What a dancfloor bomb!! Supported and played by lots of top djs!!!

The latest release on Manual Music finds the label showcasing the first single from Noraj Cue's highly anticipated debut album 'Kobalt'. The Dutch producer has certainly found a home on Paul Hazendonk's long standing imprint. Noraj was a primary collaborator on Paul's critically acclaimed 'Adapt' album from 2014, and has now appeared on Manual Music a total  of 22 times.  Due for release in September, the long awaited 'Kobalt' will be available on both the digital and CD formats. As a prelude, Manual Music now presents the 'Krankenhouse' EP which includes two forthcoming album cuts alongside a bonus track and remixes from Tim Penner and Jaap Lightart. 

For those that follow Noraj you know he's highly skilled at crafting a wide range of contemporary electronic styles, it's one of many things which make his impending album so intriguing, if  'Krankenhouse' is anything to go by we're all in for something quite special. Anchored by a heads down groove, rough beats and deliberate drums it sets a lovely hypnotic mood early. Gnarly stabs and a smooth rhythmic complement build momentum before the bass tones intensify for some additional funk. With the energy now at its peak a wonky lead gets teased in over the framework as the breakdown commences. Strong hits and a wall of white noise provide a euphoric rush as the beats drop back in propelling the track to an exhilarating conclusion. A great start to the EP. 

The lone interpretation of 'Krankenhouse' is provided by Tim Penner who is making his first appearance on Manual Music. The Canadian producer and Slideways Music label boss has been enjoying the best year of his career. Tim is fresh off remixing Max Graham's 'Redemption' single which launched the Canadian legend's brand new Cycles imprint just last month. For his 'Krankenhouse' interpretation Tim has reworked the track into a starker more direct complement with a few unique twists along the way. Led by tough beats and gritty textures, Tim's edgy sounds build tension while some raspy hooks lock the groove down a notch further. Excellent use of dynamics make for an enormous presence and a well executed break, complete with shifty drums and a spiralling build send the track further into the stratosphere. Huge remix from Tim.

The second original 'Universal Love' is also taken from the album and finds Noraj crafting a journey into contemporary electronica.  Its carefully constructed groove mechanisms and eloquent themes are immediately compelling.  There's a timeless elegance here which is never easily conveyed through electronics but Noraj has pulled it off in fine style.


The lone interpretation of 'Universal Love' is provided by Jaap Ligthart who is making his third appearance on Manual Music. The Dutch producer has been hotly tipped this year. His 'I Know Change' single released courtesy of Dave Seaman's Selador imprint has been one of 2015's strongest releases; and if that wasn't enough it was closely followed by the excellent 'Geen Gelul' courtesy of Manual Music's MNL offshoot. For his 'Universal Love' interpretation Jaap has brought Noraj's great rhythms closer to the club with a soulful sounding take on the track. Anchored by a more distinctive groove and smooth designs Jaap's version is going to be a treat on a broad range of dance floors. The piano motifs from the original sit wonderfully amidst Jaap's big beats and cavernous groove , which makes for a powerful yet elegant journey. Wonderful remix from Jaap. 

The release concludes with the non album cut 'Maybe Tomorrow' which sees Noraj going back to his techno roots. Stylized analogue motifs, cyclic bells and blissful pads; all over a bed of warm fluid textures makes for joyous voyage. It ends the release on a wonderful note and certainly foreshadows more great music to come from Noraj Cue.

Mr Babicz likes all forms of electronica, from the most chilled out vibes to serious eye watering acidic techno, and all in-between.

Centurion showcases his love for the more eclectic side, with its half paced melodic layers, guided by the infectious vocal from B James. The kind of record that would be on daytime radio in an ideal world. Theres also a dub for those that prefer it vocal free.

Remixes are vast and plentiful. Jody Wisternoff takes us firmly on the dance floor and delivers vocal and dub mixes.

Ayana Blume shrouds us in melody with her tranced out and spaced out rework.

B James delivers his own interpretation, and takes us on an acoustic beautiful journey that makes you feel like your sitting in an English summers garden.

MNCVE merges chunky phat kicks with a wash of wonderful sophisticated dubbed out brightness.

Analog masters RWAC supply a dreamy yet punchy dance floor gem.

And then to round things off Robert delivers Stepstep. A skippy breakbeat meets retro house kind of late night affair, tinged with jazzy hints that just oozes coolness.

Well there we go, quirky, cool and rather fresh, as you'd expect from BABICZSTYLE.

B2 Mix Endless Waves

Hereby we proudly present our demo track for the upcoming, and marvelous U-NO-LX VSTi from TAL. Since we're betatesting this plugin we thought it would be nice to make a nice demo for TAL to show what this, really good emulation of the Roland Juno-60, is capable of.

For this track we used only 20 instances of the beta version of this plugin and the Precision Limiter from UAD on the mainbus to make the track a little bit louder. So no EQ, Compressors, Reverb and Delay or other plugins. In other words this is what the plugin is capable of and your listening to the RAW sound of this beauty!
