Not only is this EP Gerry Read’s debut association with Delsin, but so too does it mark the launch of a new house-focussed series from the Dutch imprint.

Mysterious and 19 year old Read had quite the year in 2011. On Ramp sub-label Fourth Wave he unleashed a trilogy of EPs which toyed with a rough and ready house and techno template, sampling anything and everything and chucking it all together into sketchy yet essential tracks which made you feel, think AND dance.

This new four-tracker "Yeh Come Dance" feels like a natural continuation for the auspicious producer. The title track explores dusty and rusty loops of drums, vocals and wooden hits all of which are held together with a knackered jazzy glue. 'Crawlspace' on the other hand is a foggy gaggle of kicks, drums, hi-hats and cowbells coated in plenty of hiss and crackle.

'Bozza' again demonstrates Read's ability to produce something that sounds two decades old yet wholly contemporary at the same time. Chord prods here, raw hits there, jazzy motifs buried within – it’s house music designed for cosy little basements in the dead of night where 'Crooked' is more in yer face. The loops in this one are more exposed and loud in the mix, but still feel unmistakably elliptical and raw... house music never sounded more fresh.

Hereby we proudly present our demo track for the upcoming, and marvelous U-NO-LX VSTi from TAL. Since we're betatesting this plugin we thought it would be nice to make a nice demo for TAL to show what this, really good emulation of the Roland Juno-60, is capable of.

For this track we used only 20 instances of the beta version of this plugin and the Precision Limiter from UAD on the mainbus to make the track a little bit louder. So no EQ, Compressors, Reverb and Delay or other plugins. In other words this is what the plugin is capable of and your listening to the RAW sound of this beauty!

To properly set up a Neutrodyne receiver, not only did the circuitry need to be aligned for peak performance, (that is, getting all its tuned circuits operating "in step"), it also had to be neutralized. However, this procedure only needed to be done once (albeit by a serviceman) and thereafter the radio could be tuned by anyone without special skill.

Use headphones please. I have have been programming synthesizers for 14 years using Reaktor. I'm not interested in any video games so I spend my free time "playing" and writing music in Reaktor. Every sound you hear is synthesized, sequenced using my code and some help from the Reaktor Forum and User Library.
