I'd like to give you a bit of in-sight into how Digisaurus makes songs:

Every week, we get together for a writing night where we throw around a piece of inspiration. We then spend a night recording around that piece of inspiration. Once we have a good chunk laid down, I take bits and pieces of what we recorded and arrange it into some sort of demo. We then do some more writing around these demo's, re-record them from scratch, mix them, master them, and then voila...we have a finished song.

A few weeks ago, that particular inspiration happened to be an angry customer voice-mail that a friend received at work. My friend admitted that the customer did have a point on the return policy being out-dated (I am told it has since been updated). However, the woman's disdain and personal offense towards this company's return policy were just too tasty not to sample...Just listen to that last line!

This might be turned into an actual song some day. For now I thought it was an appropriate demo to share and make a sock puppet video for (http://youtu.be/HLjhgtejfyg). If it does turn into a song, you'll be able to see what it was born out of. Big thanks to J Fina, D-Jam$ and Tony Stewart for their help with this.

Most of my tracks are created after the vocals were recorded and in all cases the singer did not hear the music created or used along with their original tracks, all vocals used are in the original pitch and have post effects added and EQ'd by B-dub (arma ig)
