Manchester's finest Indie-Electro export Techniques is back with an absolutely massive slice of ElectroPop for summer 2016. Following releases on Kitsuné Music and electronic rumors comes Heinous Love, a tune as lyrically bitter-sweet as it is floorfilling.

Production master Mark Ralph (Hot Chip/Digitalism/Years & Years/Clean Bandit/Hot Natured/Foxes) lends a thick dancefloor sound to Techniques' driving Synth Pop anthem. With both Manchester Indie and modern Tropical Pop in it's musical DNA, Heinous Love juxtaposes it's infectious uplifting sound with it's brooding and melancholic theme.

The reMixes are served up just in time for festival season with acclaimed Brighton based producer Aashton delivering enigmatic House vibes; staple of the South-East Disco scene, Shit Hot Soundsystem, bringing the energetic Electro Nu-Disco and analog synth guru TEEEL stripping things back for a classic SynthPop sound.

Multi-instrumentalist James Mulholland, also known as Techniques, is a Manchester-based songwriter and electronic artist who began making his first recordings from the bedroom laying down drums, bass lines, guitars, synths and vocals all using one microphone and ‘whatever else was lying around’.Now producing his own brand of melancholic electronica/ house music. Having made his début on Kitsuné Music and followed up on electronic rumors, Techniques is set to release his biggest song to date with Heinous Love.
