Celebrating 20 years of the BMSS family and ten years of BMSS the record label, "Return to the Source” brings together sonic synthesis from all corners of the multiverse. 

Following on from Chapter 1 comes an eclectic mix of music destined for daylight tripping. 14 tracks that define what the BMSS catalog has come to stand for over the last two decades.

Chapter 2, retests the limits and breaks out into a free flow of emotion and feeling. Prioritizing style over labels and arbitrary genres, label manager Boom Shankar curates just as he performs.

The second part of this 20th anniversary release continues the voyage from night into daytime music.

Pleiadians remix a truly foundational classic by Technossomy, pioneer ManMadeMan teleports back to the source with a brand new track, new signing Inverse Out from Finland appears on a solo track as well as a collaboration with Vertical, and The Key (Ovnimoon & Ascent) resurrect a modern Goa Trance hymn. “Game Changer” by Argon Sphere, a collaborative tribal piece by Atoned Splendor and Six Ears from China and the emotive closing track by Datacult and GMO are all pieces that push the boundaries of modern Psychedelic Trance by momentarily erasing them.

Alongside these clever re-interpretations and genre bending music, the intensely psychedelic visionary art of Aashit Singh provides visual fuel. His fusion of the old and the new creates a bridge between the past and the present where Plus 6 Mastering full bodied analog sound gives each audible detail a clearly defined space.

Unusual choices. New points of inspiration. A return to the past through the forward looking lens of the now. A selection to remind us that there are no rules & no limits.

Twelve years ago, Joe (Hypnocoustics) and Angus (Mandala) met for the first time in a beach shack in Varkala and spent a special week hanging out, putting on small psychedelic parties and sharing music. Both were on their own personal voyages; Angus planting the visionary seeds for what was to become the stunning Mandala Goa resort in Asvem, and Joe on an audio sample and out-there-experience hunt - absorbing the vibrations of the sub-continent with the intention of bringing authenticity and inspiration to the still gestating Hypnocoustics project. 

Fast forwarding to 2012 and by a chance encounter they connected again in Goa. Both were struck at the power of manifestation in their lives. Angus had grown the Mandala Goa into an immersive yogic sanctuary visited by guests from around the world, and Joe was well on his way to being recognised internationally as one of the UK's foremost Psytrance producers and live acts. 

On Angus’ return to the UK, the much anticipated opportunity for them to sit down in the studio together had finally presented itself and after many sessions experimenting and fine-tuning their creation, this is the track that transpired.

Lefteris is a new producer of the good old greek psytrance school giving it a new fresh wave of inspiration and energy.
The album consists of several solo tracks and collaboration with other well know artists.
Each track of this talented artist is a unique psychedelic trip full of deep stories and mystycal atmospheres.
We strongly believe that puting this album loud in your speakers will be a perfect musical experience giving your mind a ticket to the outer space.

Lefteris Leontiadis known as Digital Abstract, is a Greek composer and producer of electronic music.

 Lefteris fascinated by his experiences in psychedelic events that took place in Greece, began to mix at private parties and small clubs music from various kinds of the psychedelic scene. Beyond obviously thrilled by the power of electronic music started the effort of creating his own tracks. In 2009 started producing with a computer and a keyboard, so he begun to gain a taste for computerized production. He had his first experiments in genres of electronic music like breakbeat,progressive and full on trance, before turning to the more dark path of psychedelic trance in his self-titled project Digital Abstract.
Dark, experimental, psychedelic. These are all words that are used to describe Digital Abstract’s music and each is more than justified. Digital Abstract develops gradually and cultivates a sound that’s strictly psychedelic; a sound that’s mysterious, deep and powerful with Abstract production techniques which are visual imagery structured. Digital Abstract is noted for his constant search and experiment with unusual methodology in sound design and manipulation with unparalleled technical skills.
 After his first forays into psychedelic scene, Lefteris made his first album Vortex of Infinite Night from his studio in his hometown of Thessaloniki and released from Insomnia Records based in Moscow, Russia. Which led him to perform in paries and festivals around the globe 
 
No matter what Lefteris’ vision is clear, always ready to produce pushing an uncompromisingly original, sensational and deep futuristic sound.
