The Rennie Pilgrem remix takes Shatter in a tech-funk direction while incorporating the original vocoded Jackal & Hyde vocals with a rapid-fire sine wave bassline. Propa Dropa sets up the vibe with a chunky breakbeat drum kit and a low droning bassline, capped off with some arpeggiated synth work for a dark yet uplifting feel. We can’t think of a better combo to close out the year for Toast & Jam!

Digital Base aka Andy Vibes, Sevillian DJ producer with a career spanning more than 30 years, being one of the oldest DJ producers in the Breakbeat scene who is still active. He was one of those responsible for the legendary iBreaks label and co-founder of the promoter and label Ibreaks España, being a reference for the Hardcore Breaks sound in the late 90s and a pioneer of the Techfunks & Electro House Breaks sound in the early 2000s.
