If I were to classify the music I currently play I'd say there are three "distinct" styles: downtempo, psytech and prog/zenonesque; were I highly enjoying doing crossover sets between them. I've always wanted to try do all three in a single set and last year November I got the opportunity to do so at the The Psygasm Experience (@psygasmic) x EARS DON'T LIE's EarGasm. Usually I'd want at least an hour or more for each style to transition smoothly, but here I had 90minutes to cross from a classical downtempo act, Clear Particles (aka @killawatt) at 100bpm to a full-on psytrance act, @havokkhailstone at 140bpm. Was a little challenging, especially covering 10bpm of psytech in 30min, but I thoroughly enjoyed playing this set and am pretty stoked with how things turned out. This tracklist is pretty much a summary of most of my favourite producers 🤩Hope you enjoy 💃
