Soul Sparkle EP by Caballero (MEX) is an alluring modern take on progressive, psychedelic techno. Interestingly, it lends from dub, dub techno, techno and house while exuding an array of contrasting tone colours such as analog sounds, organic drums and intricate, glitchy textures. Melbourne's (AUS) Aleckat hits it out of the park with his decadent zenonesque take of the EP title track with on-point use of Caballero's stems. All in all this EP is truly innovative and oceanic in depth.

With this special Solstice edition, Techgnosis Records' own sonics-slinging swamp mutant conscripts a slew serious artists to assist in summoning some simply standard-setting psytech creations. Eucalyptych is a response against the normalized order of the music industry, crumbling the fabricated borders. By inviting the owner of a label to compile a release for a label that is not their own, we can deepen the connection, collaboration and strengthen the sound.
