In his unique take on Rupt's "Muddy Mood", German producer mexCalito favors a stompier rhythm rather than drivey -- playing up the track's signature sticky/muddy bass. A bouncing stereo panned perc adds swing to the off-beat bass, while another bass synth steps and spirals down in recurring sequences. The vocal sneaks in little reminders to "Hide the body..." while the bouncing stomping gutteral groove presses on with abandon. His remix feels as if we are knee deep in the muck moving into ever-increasing darkness, yet we can't stop lifting our legs to left-right-left-right step...Don't miss out on this killer remix in addition to the other 3 tacks on this EP!

Jason always had a pronounced taste for music of all kinds but had a preference for electronic music. It all started back in 2009 when a friend of his Clarel Lecordier (Clarel L) made him listen to techno & minimal music for the first time in a clothing shop where he was working at that time. Since then he has developed a love for this genres of music and Shout’s Darkroom also played a big role in that. But it was only in 2016 that he’s discovered that music was his passion and wanted to make it a profession and thanks to the friends that made him realize this, supported & pushed him at that time.

Through his music Jason shares a part of himself and his story, his style has been influenced by artists such Breger, Le Son du Placard, Gaga & Mateo!, HC Kurtz, Ricky Ebner, Monoccoc, Carbon & Romport and local folks like Ken Zo, Matias, Tahir & Mez. At that time he was only playing at friend’s birthdays or small private gigs. Until back in 2017 where Nxt Lvl believed in him and gave him his chance to play his first gig at Kozy Garden and since then he played on various line ups along side local & international acts such Le Son Placard, Smilk, Metodi Hristov, Geometrix Flux, Stiv Hey, Tim Taste, Ryanosaurus, Lampé, Aphe, Daniel Jaeger & Sumiruna. And finally Jason's style varies from punchy & groovy dark minimal tech to psytech.

S P E C T R U M - DJ / Producer born in the years of 1988 in the beautiful island of Mauritius. At the age of 16, he discovers music through lots of adventures on the streets of his locality with his friends playing guitar, drums and percussions. His curiosity leads him towards the world of electronic music where he began Djing while he was still at school and started producing in 2014.

For the past years, he has been able to explore and experiment himself into the dark underground music, sharing stage with lots of local and international artists in Mauritius. He brings along with him his own groovy vibes through the frequency of the crowd. This connection to the dark side has brought him to a personal evolution where the project SPECTRUM was born. He started to produce some spicy track with his friend Mezzle

S P E C T R U M defines himself as a mixed of art and mother nature along side a minimalist mindset. His aim is to share all his spiritual awareness through hertz, transporting souls to unexpected feeling.
