It's winter time Down Under and our Australian Boss-man Kinimal is once again channeling the Dark Techno Vibes to ward off the cold.  
We are thrilled to be presenting NOX Volume IV, compiled by Kinimal - a Compelling Continuation of our well-established Night-Time Techno series.

Presented within the hallways of this Techgnostic Temple are 11 testaments to the dark tech aesthetic, laden with psychechedelic atmospheres and sonorous shadows.  
This VA will once again be a DJ's delight with club-ready weapons from our OG roster as well as some fresh faces, and in true Kinimal fashion, a key focus on the myriad of talented artists coming out of Australia.

We are proud to have him again with us, and this time with a very special extended EP, and bunch of special friends as remixers. We guess that it’s safe to say this lineup for the year 2020 is more or less Psy Tech dream team, so here you go -

Luis M - Embrace The Fear [SoundCloud Clip]

Acid Flowers EP is the debut release by the German co-founder of Digital Diamonds and one half of Alic, Piece Of Acid. The driving concept behind the project is based on Roland’s renowned bass synthesizer from the ’80s, called the TB-303, after its unique sound and warm timbre. This gives the EP a retro, acid techno vibe complemented by analog sounds and clear-cut production. However, there’s a refreshing visionary, psychedelic approach in the textures and sound design, using insect-like and glitch effects. On top of that, it has ear-catching ideas that make the tracks not only dance floor gems but well-composed songs. We foresee a promising future for this budding project.

Hi all, Jed from SixthSense Australia here. I have decided to personalise this message for this special premiere, by a special person, that's to be released on the famed Digital Structures later this week. 

I've had the pleasure of developing a very dynamic, long distanced musical friendship with South Punk over the last 2 years. His previous releases on Digital Structures had always captured my attention with his distinct, raw sound that evoked my grungy raver spirit from within. As COVID rankled the world, South Punk made the most of his lockdown studio hours, sending me project after project to have a listen to and pass judgement on. 

One South Punk track that stood out from the rest was 'Nothing Is Real'. From the first listen of the very first "WIP", I found my self in my studio lost in the motion of dance whilst developing a serious addiction to listening to 'Nothing Is Real' every single day. The crude, filthy vibe of the track activated my dirtiest bass face as it stuck true to the core values of the "underground" sound our doof subculture has built itself on. I recently had the pleasure of dropping this gangsta as tune at Elements Festival 2020 to a sea of keen pleasure seekers, the response and scenes were beyond WILD. 

It's been extremely heart warming seeing my Israeli brother from another mother - South Punk - develop this into the thunderous minimal techno banger it is today and I am overjoyed that 'Nothing Is Real' has found it's home on the decorated Digital Structures discography.
