The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Raavel. "Robot Meets Meat Grinder" comes off the Mystictrax Multiverse VA compilation from Chornobyl based Mystictrax Multiverse on the 1st of November.

Mystictrax Multiverse is a compilation of bangers with unique sound, emotion and passion. It unites such Ukraine based artists as Radiant Futur, Peshka, Kiddmisha, Lostlojic, Monotronique, Clasps & many more. 

Some of them are known as Boiler Room, HÖR and Brave Factory Festival regulars, CXEMA, club ∄ and VESELKA LGBTQ+ residents. Also the VA features local vinyl only artists and a few newcomers.

Our warrior-musician (just like the legendary Cossack Mamay!) Distortion (UA), wrote these tracks while he was waiting for medical operation after the arrival of a shell - together with his comrades from AZOV, he defended Kyiv from russian barbarians. Now, with the tattoo A.C.A.B. only C.A.B remained on his skin. and the desire for revenge. Righteous fire was embodied in the Bullets Seeds track: a farmer threatens invaders with the words "I grow bullets, you bastards!". Activation will turn on everyone's brain, work as an energizer and keep ready for anything. Brick Wall, Jaguar, and Saw (co-authored by the talented Kate Makovii) are all igniting bullets for your 7.62 set!

The Emergence LP is just a small part of a larger audio-visual project, with many pieces of music that feature in the live shows but not on the album. Panned is a track that came from experiments with live surround sound shows where I use 6 or more channels to create spatial forms for each piece of music. I wanted to bring this experience to a stereo format, so I created a track with every element hard panned, with some extreme sounds to enforce the effect. 

The track is also built around some experiments with looping audio through analogue pedals - distortion, ring mod and delay. I had a lot of fun pushing the limits and making them squeal in a heavy sort of way, which lent itself to this intense form of track. (I also used some of the results in Trust, in a more subtle form).

That intensity was something which seemed a better fit for Joe than the normal album tracks, and I love his work and was keen to get him involved with the project, so we jumped in with a remix of Panned.
