Ole Mic Odd aka Mike Padgett is an exemplary specimen of the “New American Electro” which Kraftjerkz champions. Distorted drums, dark pads and sinister vocoder make him a remarkable LA producer. Robotronix combines the heavy American electrofunk rhythms of classic LA, Detroit, and Miami with menacing postpunk melody. Includes turntablist-friendly Detroit style remix by label boss, Kid Ginseng. At 067, Kraftjerkz could be America’s answer to Bunker. Let the DJs decide.

New name on the STVOL label and the first single from the upcoming EP "Bring Me Home." Harry Light is an electronic musician known for his numerous vinyl releases on leading music labels in Europe. Inspired by the culture of Berlin and having gathered vintage equipment in his studio, the musician releases his first vinyl EP on the Pro-Tez label, which made it to the sales charts on German Decks.de. The two subsequent EPs released on Artreform records entered the top-20 of Decks.de's "Hot 100 Sales."

The track "For Those Who Won’t Return" works like a time machine thanks to its warm, melancholic analog sound and soft accents, evoking feelings of bright nostalgia and love for the past.

The Emergence LP is just a small part of a larger audio-visual project, with many pieces of music that feature in the live shows but not on the album. Panned is a track that came from experiments with live surround sound shows where I use 6 or more channels to create spatial forms for each piece of music. I wanted to bring this experience to a stereo format, so I created a track with every element hard panned, with some extreme sounds to enforce the effect. 

The track is also built around some experiments with looping audio through analogue pedals - distortion, ring mod and delay. I had a lot of fun pushing the limits and making them squeal in a heavy sort of way, which lent itself to this intense form of track. (I also used some of the results in Trust, in a more subtle form).

That intensity was something which seemed a better fit for Joe than the normal album tracks, and I love his work and was keen to get him involved with the project, so we jumped in with a remix of Panned.
