An update to my previous version of Téo & Téa by Jean-Michel Jarre.  The stems for this track were released years back as part of a remix competition.

After a few reworks, the only samples I am now using are the vocals and the drop/hit synth. All other instruments programmed by myself using Arturia VSTs.

Téo & Téa Cover (Well, Shall We Have Some More Téa?)

Here is my version of Jochen Hippel's (aka Mad Max) fantastic introduction/menu music for The Seven Gates of Jambala.

The Seven Gates of Jambala was developed by Thalion Software and published by Grandslam Interactive in 1989. This was the first game developed by Thalion, and was a launch pad for the Atari ST demo group The Exceptions (Tex) and their venture into commercial games.

Originally created on the YM2149 sound chip for the Atari ST, this has to be one of my favorite introduction tunes. I've incorporated some of Jochen's original sounds into this tune as without them it just doesn't sound the same.

The Seven Gates of Jambala

Here is my version of Jason C. Brooke's great music from Vixen.

Vixen was developed by Intelligent Design and published by Martech in August 1988. To be honest, it was pretty bad, with the music being the best bit about it!

Musically it is very similar to Sympathy for the Devil by The Rolling Stones - perhaps it is just coincidence?

Xenon (In Game)

Welcome to the magical Enchanted Land! This is my remix version of the classic Jochen Hippel (aka Mad Max) intro music for the groundbreaking Atari ST game, Enchanted Land. It is created using lots of lovely 80s instruments and also features Jochen himself (see if you can spot him).

Enchanted Land broke all the rules of the Atari ST to give the best platformer experience ever created. It was written by Nic Thisell of the demo crew The Carebears (TCB) and published by Thalion in 1990.

Electro Groove Thing

A just for fun tribute to "STOS, The Game Creator" a basic programming language on the Atari ST. The STOS Coders retro community is reviving this amazing language through our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/stoscoders) and our main website (https://stoscoders.com)

It uses many of the default patches and sound effects from the Fairlight CMI IIx.

I have just gotten around to putting it through Reason 6.5 to improve it a little, but other than that it's as it was when originally done in Reason 4.0, with the tune being the same since 1998!
