Through The Night

"Unbirthday" as a concept has always pleased me, but as a word it's bothered me.  The opposite of birth is death.  So 'Happy Unbirthday' is literally a celebration of your future death. We don't know when our death day is, thus you have to celebrate every day.  A sort of Momento Mori. Since Lewis never talked about how he got to unbirthday, it's possible this is what he meant all along!

Of course, in twisted Wonderland, it absolutely is about death.
