Psycho System are David Iglesias and Sergio Cano - two adrenaline fueled beat mechanics from Spain; the latest additions to the Phonix Records family. We found them in Spain’s equivalent to Area 51, experimenting with zero gravity fields with maximum power levels on full volume cerebral machines. Hamish started DJ’ing at 19 while at University. His first events became the calling-card for those in search of good atmosphere, decor and amazing music. Since then he moved to London and continued to work on events, responsible for bringing artists such as Ace Ventura, Freq, Klopfgeister, Kasey Taylor, Flowjob and Liquid Soul to the capital. He also attracted the attention of Shane Gobi and Alchemy Records, becoming a label DJ in 2006.

With the influence on warm, strong, psychedelic and groovy music, ranging from techno to progressive to full-on, Hamish always goes on a musical wander when behind the decks. His love of progressive led to the forming of Furthur Progressions records and an enduring DJ partnership with Mark Bedouin. Now, with two compilations under his belt as a DJ and a calendar of label releases and gigs, all Hamish can think is - busy is great, music is fantastic and the dancefloors are happening!
