Gaff Records' debut compilation celebrates the essence and heart of why this label exists. Founder JuliosMap began his journey into the psytrance scene in 2016 by organizing the Psychedelic Gaff parties. As a tribute to those unforgettable nights, the compilation is titled '𝘗𝘴𝘺𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘤 𝘎𝘢𝘧𝘧'.

In Irish slang, "gaff" refers to a house or a place where people gather, embodying the spirit of community and connection these events have fostered.

This release features a collection of tracks from artists who have performed at the Psychedelic Gaff parties, bringing together a blend of groove and psychedelia. A huge thank you to all the artists for their incredible contributions, perfectly capturing the energy envisioned for the dance floor.

Mind SHuffle Vol 1- Promo Mix For Agya Chakra Records (148 - 155 BPM)

This was a live piece I performed at LoveFest 2008. The whole arrangement is live, I created it in real time. The bits and pieces are mostly all original-- I took loops from my songs after I wrote them. I am using about 8 tracks in Ableton with various effects. The kick and bassline are on the same track, then there is a percussion track, atmosphere track, and a non-percussive loop track. There are two tracks for one-hit samples: one for vocal samples and one for any hits (cymbals, bangs, whooshies, etc..). Finally, there are two lead tracks. One plays prepared, 32- to 64-bar sequences (as .wav audio). The other, last lead track is special. It is hard to explain, but it basically allows me to create a lead in real-time. Spontaneous live lead action!

I have everything mapped to my midi controller. The knobs are assigned to effects. Some are just for the lead and others are global effects. The keys are assigned by octave. For instance, the C, C#, and D are always kick/bass loops. E, F, and F# are always drum loops, and so on. My keyboard has 11 octaves, so 11octavesx12keysX16midi-channels of samples for me to play with. That's 2112 different samples(!)

In 2013, in the highest village on a mountain in the Swiss Alps, a project was born. Having been attending and organising parties for his entire adult life, Nico Z3nkai decided to help his friends, help the music he loves and use his many contacts to create a family of musicians that became what is known today as DIGITAL SHAMANS RECORDS.

It was not long before Z3nkai compiled the first release and made a huge first impression for the label. This CD, Altered Gravity, showed off the fresh talent on the label as well as established international artists that supported and loved what the label was doing.

Their sound quickly spread with many artists seeking to be released on the label, Did playing their music at the biggest events and promoters booking them all over the world including USA, Brazil, Canada, New Caledonia and India to name a few.

Today, having released 4 CDs and numerous EPs and playing at the worlds events, they bring a heavy line-up of live acts and DJs to rock any party with complicated, detailed, full power psychedelic dance music and are quickly making a name for themselves as the label to watch!
