Hot Since 82 & Habischman - Leave Me (Dubfire Playa Remix)

2015 saw Stephan Bodzin release his second full length, “Powers of Ten”, as well as a new single on DJ Tennis’ and Tale of Us’ taste making label Life and Death. The album is another magical piece of work that focuses on melody and rhythm, on fat bass and vivid sound design and is a truly captivating journey through the mind, music, body and soul of one of dance music’s truly modern greats. After its release, a great team of modern music makers was enlisted to remix tracks from it: Maceo Plex & Shall Ochin, Fur Coat, Extrawelt, long time musical sparring partner Marc Romboy, Pan-Pot, Max Cooper, Agents of Time, Dominik Eulberg and many more all contributed to what is an essential collection. With a remix of ‘Sleepless’, a Pan-Pot track from their latest album, Stephan Bodzin closed the latest chapter of 2015 in what has been an exhilarating musical journey in his capable and creative hands.

Having been on the scene for over a decade, Wehbba has actually released a ridiculous amount of music. Labels like Tronic, 82 Recordings and Systematic have acted as a home for the artist but his forthcoming work on Padley's is some of our favourite to date.

The title track does the business but fellow Brazilian ANNA has served up the remix and it's more of the excellent same we've come to expect from the chart-topping producer. ANNA's seemingly got the golden touch and when she's not climbing the Beatport charts she's getting booked all over the world.

We're delighted to present you a snippet from the EP in the form of a full premiere of 'Mesoplodon' - this is an epic cut, a pulsating eight and a half minute trip along an underwater highway. Right after having dropped „Connaisseur“, the epic collaboration with Olderic, on our 10 year anniversary release, Peter Pardeike now fnally presents his solo debut. Living in Cologne, Peter is mostly known for his collaborations with Marcus Worgull on Innervisions. His own musical infuences can easily be traced to his club socialization in the 90ies.

With the title “Love Supreme“, Peter Pardeike delivers a monster of a track, which we are sure you will not forget.When the remarkable vocoder choir comes in for the frst time, you will feel it reverberate though your entire body, making it stick in you mind forever. "Love Supreme“ will defnitely catch your full attention. The track's sequences inaugurate a dance in which they en- and detangle themselves with a dulcet triplet acid approach and an almost popish vocal loop repetition. "Nero“ on the fipside is a symphony of emotions. Don’t be fooled by the strong marching kick drum and its angular bassline, this track is as tender as swiss chocolate and as majestic as the house of Lannister. We welcome back Dutch duo Tinlicker to the label as they reunite with ‘Soon You’ll Be Gone’ vocalist Thomas Oliver on anthemic new cut ‘Nothing Without You’. On remix duties and marking his debut Anjunadeep outing, Atomnation boss Applescal a.k.a. Pascal Terstappen steps up to the plate with a brooding club ready rework.

After the debut EP by ĂVEM at the end of last year, the second EP of the Viennese Label Heimlich Musik comes from Beirut-based producer Rabih Rizk. With releases on Wildfang Musik, Lump Records and Magician On Duty, Rabih Rizk already earned reputation within the community. His ‘Sleep’ EP contains two original tracks and two remixes by Landhouse & Raddantze from Karlsruhe and well-known member of Matanza, Rodrigo Gallardo. Both original tracks are strongly driven by emotions reflecting the feeling of solitude. According to the artist, ‘Sleep’ expresses his own personal relationship towards anxiety while ‘Phone Index’ tells a story about being alone somewhere in the middle of the night filled with the emptiness of waiting for a phone call. These melancholic thoughts are expressed through the dark vocals as well as through the rolling basslines and fragile pads you can hear in both original tracks. With their remix, Landhouse & Raddantze delivered a version of ‘Sleep’ that is even more dreamy than the original without losing their individual signature style while focusing on the vocal lines. Well-established artist Rodrigo Gallardo created a powerful banger that seems to be made for the dancefloor by adding flute sounds reflecting the melodies of the original track. While working with rhythmic arpeggio-lines, Gallardo gives his remix extra power through surrounding the melodic parts with strong sub-basses. The mood that was established with the first EP on Heimlich Musik by the end of last year is continued with this EP without losing an individual style when it comes to aesthetics and arrangements of the original tracks and the remixes.

About Fideles :
Fideles is a project born of Italian duo Daniele Aprile & Mario Roberti. Emerging in early 2010, the pair have already released a substantial body of music to date, across a number of leading imprints. With the aim of delivering a mature and complete sound, their productions have found their way to release on labels including Josh Wink’s ‘Ovum Recordings’ & Oliver Koletzki’s ‘Still vor Talent’. Fideles’s rounded production, combining a mix of melodic and interesting layers, has turned heads of leading DJs and music fans alike. It’s evident from their recent EPs and mixes that Fideles are a duo that have a lot more to give. 2017 is set to be a turning point for the Italian duo. Having already released on Innervisions and with more equally highbrow productions scheduled for later in the year, Fideles are fast becoming a rounded and familiar electronic music act.
